Seems like a lovely adventure. It is usual to invest in home security, stuff like security cameras, alarms or armored doors in Eastern Europe though.

Another great vlog. I love those traditional songs. I visited Russian homes in Moscow when I worked with the BBC and also experienced the 'vault' doors.
@RJinspire4 жыл бұрын
No matter how much I spend in Russia, the surprises never stops, so many interesting things to see and do. Most homes in Russia have those big metal doors for the outer side and another wooden door int the inside, two-doors-home are a norm throughout Russia. Thanks for sharing your BBC Russian experience, you must have had a wonderful time in Moscow and yes, I love those traditional Russian songs, I think I sang well 😂

My Russian friends insisted that I sing those old Soviet songs and I think I did well singing in Russian. Sing before drinking the liquor, Russia has so much to offer and a lot to explore, I am loving it, thanks

yeah those volted doors are no joke, very common with many apartments, i am from Kiev and we had an apartment when I was a kid with the same kind of door, lot's of break-ins and these doors were not easy to break through. Especially if your apartment was on the first floor, it was the doors that many drunks would try the most to open.
@RJinspire4 жыл бұрын
The doors really impressed me and I have seen them in other former Soviet countries, see you in Ukraine after the pandemic
