To answer your question on "Why did Killua not know of nen". It's because when Kill's father dumped him at heaven arena he managed to get SOOOO MUCH MONEY that he lost interest in competiting in Heaven Arena before his first encounter with a nen user/ a fight in the 200's, where he would have had to learn without the aid of Wing but through merciless beatings and physchological trauma ascociated with blasting a non nen user with a nen based attack.

Gumball Doesn’t sounds right. Didn’t they start teaching him to become stronger and better killer since age of 3. If they knew of his potential didn’t that only made them “fear” him in the way they need. Like that time he ordered Aluka to kill his mom if. I think they didn’t teach him that because they needed control over him until he was like at least 16. Being supper strong and stuff (physically) and skilled. So that he learns how to kill while not relying on Nen. And only then teach him. Because again one of the main reasons they could (force) Killua to do anything was of Ren. If he had protection from that he would just quit being assassin like he did.

Don't forget that this guy already opened the 16-ton Level 3 door to the Zoldyck mansion right after the Hunter Exam. _Of course_ he can swing around some measly 50-kg-yoyos. Also, when Killua opens that door again towards the end of the series, I think he makes it all the way up to level 5? Which means he can _at least_ casually lift 64 tons now, but since the gap between this and the next level is so large, his actual strength might even be closer to the 128 tons mark already, who knows? In any case, Killua is a fucking beast. ;)
