Arado But that was when her _skin_ was touched. Touching a worn piece of clothing, such as boots, should only affect that item of clothing, not the wearer. In at least one version of the story, Midas actually wears gloves (which turn to gold) to avoid allowing his skin to make direct contact with anything on accident. I actually have two other complaints, though. Pure gold is extremely soft. Like Play-Dough soft. It’s also pretty dense. Assuming that anything Midas (or his statue’s hand) touches turns to pure gold, rather than some sort of gold alloy, the statue shouldn’t be able to stand up under its own weight. And it certainly should maintain its shape after falling over like in the original game. Then there’s the fact that the floor underneath the hand should’ve been turned to gold, too, as should’ve the chair the statue is sitting on.

On the note of run-out-of-time game overs, in Mass Effect 2's DLC content where you crash an asteroid installation against one of the mass effect relays, if you sit there and let that big clock count down to zero, there's an actual game-over sequence of images that imply The Reapers show up and kill everything.

The "You are dead" group dance killed me. XD I quite liked the variety of endings in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines. One of the bad endings in that had you tied up and dumped into an ocean, another had you blown up. Max Payne 1 also had a nicely done bad ending, if you allowed the final boss to escape on a helicopter (don't they know helicopters in games are supposed to always crash?)

Yeah, kind of makes you learn a lesson not to betray your own kin, because betrayal is one of the worst things ever, and before you know it, you get to taste some of your own medicine. And with opening the coffin, you get warned throughout the game a number of times not to open it, so if you still do and ignore all the warnings, that too is a price to pay.
