While it may seem basic to hear at first, the case that is going on with Amber Heard and Johnny Depp (in this particular instance the Defamation case that has been going on for over two weeks now) is very much one of truth and lies. To be more specific, Johnny Depp is trying to prove once and for all that Amber Heard has lied to the world at large about the accusations of abuse that she's had tied to him. As of right now, there is no verdict that can be rendered for various reasons. quick note about the makeup, the reason it was so pivotal is that the attorney said "she carried THIS makeup kit in her bag with her everywhere to cover up bruises" then entered it as evidence. So effectively without saying the words "she used the (make/model here) makeup kit to hide bruises" she did still say that...entering that makeup kit as an exhibit is arguably perjury (by legal definition it is a misrepresentation of evidence under oath)

I love that she got the police called out to investigate a fight of theirs when 'Johnny threw a phone at her' saying that he had abused her and trashed the place, that there was broken glass everywhere etc. Although her and her friends couldn't even get their stories straight in a way that aligned with the evidence, then all 4 police officers that showed up at the scene testified saying that she had no injuries on her and that the place looked fine. When they were then painted as liars, the body cam footage from the event showed exactly the same thing they were saying! Soo many inconsistencies it's unreal 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've been watching parts of this case but haven't seen anything about that vomit part. Amber said that Johnny was puking every night in his sleep? How would he not know that (atleast upon waking up)? Not to mention, if he was doing this regularly, he would likely be dead. Vomiting in your sleep is incredibly dangerous.

Her demeanor in court is highly reminiscent of the Dalia Dippolito court case where an ex-escort tried to hire a hitman to kill her new husband. Maintained her innocence throughout even though she was caught red handed since the hitman she tried to hire was actually an undercover cop. Her facial expressions, bodily demeanor and unconscious movements are extremely similar and it's shocking to see. Really interesting as well from a psychological perspective; seeing these people who are so far detached from reality. Hopefully we see some justice for Johnny and he is able to live his life in relative peace, devoid of this crazy woman.
