When a woman makes false allegations it hurts every woman who is actually in an abusive relationship. It just makes my blood boil!

When feminism groups try to pass laws to forbid media coverage of false accusations of rape by women over men, y'all don't bat an eye. It destroys these people's life unless they move off their continent. At the same time it's a direct hit against gender equality movements, as it makes it more difficult for real women victims of rape as the tendency to believe lowers. When men are domestically abused, y'all try to reduce it to "they're just women (as if children), can't be that bad", and claim it rarely happens (nearly half (by a few perrcents) DV cases are men). Even if it was rare, any victim of DV is the same, whether a man or a woman. When men try to speak about being raped and domestically abused, women do their best to humiliate them publicly until they give up. As far as sueing them for rape to silence them (true story, all of the above are true stories and the "routine" of feminism). Feminism likes fighting against gender equality progress in general, hence being called out for "double standards" quite often (but muzzled as usual), pushing a gender bias in favor of women "too good to be bad", hence biased against men :). Nuff said. If women ca't accept they're just human beings, I'm gonna drop any support in favor of gender equality at some point, can't keep up when the majority is retarded.

maybe but i wouldnt put this on gender bias but rather personal bias,i dont think this is about amber beeing a woman but more about amber beeing amber and the likely hood she slept her way to the top. hollywood wants to keep her because she is eye candy and stil young nd exploitable and usable to exploit others and johny isnt so he is disposible,i dont know how this is gonna end but one would think johny is gonna win this. if he doesnt win it shows how broken and biased the legal system is and maybe to an extent how much hollywood owns it.

Yes, alcohol & drugs can skew the person character but if there is not proof why keep badgering Mr. Depp? I know in my circumstance my ex was abusing alcohol & drugs and it may it may not contribute to his aggressive behavior. But nobody held a gun to his head & made him use the substances. That was all in him. You can even say that the alcohol/drugs is what caused the violence. But he is ultimate responsible for his actions. But it seems to me Mr. Depp was not a violent man using/abusing whatever. It depends on the person, how much ingested, & what kind of drugs was taken.

The courts continue to be extremely biased towards women and dismissive of men WRT domestic violence claims, so I'm not surprised the legal battle is still ongoing. What I find baffling is the ongoing attempt by the press and entertainment establishment to cover for Heard however they can. I had assumed they were just cynically backing who they thought was the winning horse, but years of awkward revelations and ongoing public support for Depp later, they're still doubling down. Folks with dementia are not as alert and stable and consistent as he was in his testimony. Again making him a good witness. He didn't allow the attorney to trip him up or delay his response she wanted to show he was lying in some way or make him give a different answer to a similar question in order to proceed w more detailed questioning to put the what if in the jury or judge head. @ChristopherGuilday
@ChristopherGuilday 2 жыл бұрын
That’s totally normal. This is Johnny Depp’s witness. His lawyer is only going to ask him questions that would benefit Johnny’s case. The witness is told to speak freely and explain the details to Johnny’s lawyer. The witness is told to say “I don’t recall” in response to Amber’s lawyer if the witness can’t remember the details explicitly clearly, or thinks it’s possible his response could be twisted or taken out of context to be used against Johnny. Basically if your a witness and your being questioned by the party that you don’t support than you shouldn’t respond to the questions if there is any reasonable doubt that you don’t remember the situation clearly because it can then either be taken out of context, or simply be inaccurate and therefor used against Johnny. If Johnny’s lawyer asks him a question regarding something he can’t perfectly remember than it is OK to answer to the best of his ability. Obviously you have to be honest when answering the questions, but you shouldn’t answer a question if it’s possible you don’t remember the situation perfectly given that it could hurt Johnny’s case, and that’s OK to do. If you DO remember perfectly and you still say “I can’t recall” than that would be bad, and you shouldn’t do that, but people still do it anyway. Trials are weird, and this is how they work.

Same with me....it's super unfortunate how the double standards have given women ultimate control over ruining someone's life and career because they are petty, or want to look like the victim/innocent one in public... I had one woman threaten to call 911 and tell them I beat the shit out of her while she was hitting herself, and banging herself against the wall....because I didn't want to spend money on something she wanted...and that was probably the most terrifying night of my life... Sad thing about all of this is that Amber’s legal team will lose all credibility on future cases. It’s embarrassing listening to them try and trip people up with wordplay to help them prove lies. It comes off as if they are attempting to discredit and mock every testimony that contradicts the narrative Amber has stuck with all these years. Respect for the witnesses that have taken the stand and maintained their cool. I know I couldn’t do it.

Yes they do. People will endure lots of abuse if they are getting paid. We have seen it millions of times with famous people, people will stick around for years because they are getting paid well, and they idolize the celebrity. Just look at stars like Stallone and Springsteen, because both have been known for years to be super brutal to the people around them, and those same people are still there. That is how Springsteen got the nickname The Boss, because he is supposedly super strict with his staff. A lot of these celebrities have some weird fetish about people not looking them in the eyes, and Stallone and Springsteen were two that were known for that, but supposedly a lot of other celebrities have that rule for their staff as well. Prince was another that supposedly had the eye rule and several other demeaning rules for his staff. The eye thing with Prince is one of the rumors that was basically confirmed. You can find it on here, but there is a video where Weird Al is talking about how he kept asking Prince to parody one of his songs, and Prince always said no. So he says he was at an award show and Prince was there, and he says Prince had his people come to him and tell him he was not allowed to look at Prince in the eye. He says he is pretty sure that Prince hated him. There is also that guy from the group Arrested Development who Prince sued for using one word from a Prince song. He says after the lawsuit was over Prince kept inviting him to his house, and all the time Prince would come up with ways to talk about how he beat him in a lawsuit. He said he is pretty sure Prince only wanted to be friends so he could keep reminding him that he lost a lawsuit to Prince. That is what kind of people celebrities become, and the people around them put up with a lot, and they still stay. It is sorta like when a boxer always talks bad about their trainer, and the trainer never leaves, and it is because they are getting paid very well, and most likely they just wanna be around a top level boxing star. People are way less likely to leave a celebrity that treats than they are to leave a normal job working for someone that is not rich and famous. You would leave a normal job in a second, but lots of people would keep working for a movie star or star singer if they treated them bad. You might not put up with a normal boss slapping you or yelling at you daily, but lots of people would stay if a celebrity did that to them. It is kinda like John Cena, because he makes his women sign huge contracts before they can live in his house. A woman would not do that for a regular guy, but they would do that for John Cena. A regular guy asking his woman to sign a contract is a sure fire way to get dumped, John Cena asking is totally fine. Y'all seem naive about how much people will put up with from a celebrity.

It's truly a terrifying spot to be as a man because of that stigma in society. If there's anyone out there going thru this right now, My advice would be to remain strong, calm and get out asap. Don't give in to what they want. Women that antagonize a violent incident solely for control having premeditated intent to get their partner to become irrational and violent are just as gross as the abuser. They'll willingly encourage and welcome the abuse, it's absolutely disgusting.

I’m so sorry you had to go through that. As a feminist, it upsets me terribly that we are not yet at a point where equality means women also being perceived as having the capacity to perpetrate these sort of crimes. We won’t be equal until the point where people start seeing us for what we really are - warts and all. Where I don’t agree with you is in the idea that ANYONE deserves hit for saying something - women who antagonise men may be gross but they are not “just as gross” as abusers - don’t deserve to be beaten for it. There’s a level of escalation you’re ignoring. Antagonism doesn’t give the person being antagonised the right to raise their hands to another person
