I love that this video has so any dislikes just because Camila fans hate to admit that 5H's downfall was in fact Camila. She never tried to blend with the group, and the only time their harmonies were perfect is when Camila had the lead and the other girls could blend. Not that this is all her fault, their label and sound engineers got her used to being the stand out. Listen to 5H post Camila and you'll wonder why their harmonies are so smooth and their chemistry is so good.

She wanted to pursue solo music and that showed through in their last couple years as 5. But once again, if you have a label that also believes you can make it without the need of the group and be profitable then they will make it happen. The other girls had the right to be salty. Which they weren't but could have been petty about the situation since Camila already got 50% of the lines and lots of center time as the face of the group. This is 4 years late, but it's really not about her voice not fitting the others. Even K-Pop groups are able to harmonize well despite the members having completely different ranges and colours. Camila didn't even try to blend in, and her adlibs didn't even add any musicality 90% of the time. Even if she were to lead a song, it's still important to take note of everyone else.

I have to agree in some clips. But the rest, it's counted as adlibs not harmony. Her voice is very unique compared to the other girls that's why sometimes she outsang the harmony. Lauren has unique quality too so sometimes she outsings the harmony (ex. Stay cover). But she can now handle harmonizing with the girls without ruining it(ex. Can you see live). Camila is successful with her career now, it's better to leave it all there.

TBH the harmonies are SO MUCH better now and 5H do sound a lot better without her. All the girls get to shine now instead of all the focus on Camila with her runs and solos. Don't get me wrong, I was heart broken when she left, but now that it's been a year without her I like them more without her. Decent Singer = Nice tone, alright technique, fairly pitchy, can’t sing vocally challenging songs. Good Singer = Clear tone, great technique, hits the right octaves, can sing any song. Camila Cabello = Decent Singer. Period.

Because in a harmony you're supposed to mesh with each other my school did a Christmas Carol competition and in the harmonies, one boy (who couldn't sing for the love of god) stood out more than everyone else but harmonies aren't supposed to be overpowering and someone singing a harmony should be IN HARMONY with everyone else Now Camila has talent but her sticking out in a harmony is not the best was to show that it just shows that she needs to listen to the volume around her and try to blend/match everyone elses volume

The only two where she was supposed to harmonize with the others were 2 and 1 and those didn’t even sound bad. The others she was either leading, it was her verse, or she had to adlib. For most of these the others harmonized in the background.

From my point of view since she was in a group it meant that she needed to harmonise with others because from what i have seen she was raising her tone to outwit the rest which aint cool anyway she is a great singer
