I think Ventura 13 is the worst update from Apple. I have MacBook Air 2018. Everything was going well and smooth but when I updated to Ventura 13 my bluetooth not working, along with this airdrop also not working. Whenever I click on AirDrop option in Favorite from Finder it hangs and have to force quit finder. Bluetooth option is disable \(backslash on Bluetooth symbol at menu bar) even if I enable it from bluetooth settings. In Control center I see Bluetooth option is showing as off (Even if it is enable from Bluetooth settings) Tried all possible option available options on net also contacted apple support still problem not resolved finally support guy suggested to downgrade to old version. Take your backup and install old version where you have bluetooth working. I don't want to downgrade and take backup. This should not be a hardware problem, When I upgraded to Ventura this issue started. I was waiting for the update, installed Ventura 13.1 but same issue.

Here's a big question for everyone, are you running Ventura via OCLP? If so, it may be a bad install. I had this exact issue after upgrading from High Sierra to Ventura on my MBP mid 2010. I did a clean Ventura install and it seems to be working simply fine now, albeit known limitations for unsupported equipment via OCLP 0.6.7.

Go to finder then Applications , Scroll down to Utilitty , Double click Bluetooth File Exchange , A window will pop up , choose your file and hit send , another window will pop up asking to choose your destination . Im using Ventura 13.7.1

Tried all of the supposed fixes for getting bluetooth to connect to my (4 different kinds) of bluetooth headphones. No luck. Was fine until I updated the latest Monterey 12.5.1 software, and now no matter how many fixits I try, including deleting plist files and reprogramming via the terminal, Monterey 12.5.1 has completely screwed up my previously working computer. Can someone please recommend a real solution? I've also had to send this MacBook Air (M1, 2020) to Apple Care 3 times so they could fix hardware problems. They basically removed and re-installed the logic board, Touch ID, and IO board, which did NOTHING. I would appreciate anyone who can help with this problem, because apparently Apple has not idea.

Since I updated Ventura 13.0 I keep getting Mouse Keys On on boot up and I cannot put my password because some of the keys on my keyboard are not working so then I plug in on external keyboard and I am able to put my pass word my question is there a way to disable mouse keys permanently ??? thanks

What do you mean by reset your mac after reseting the bluetooth module? I just restarted my mac afterwards but nothing has changed...? Do I need to reset it differently?

thanks! I was about to take this thing back but the terminal command is the trick that worked. I have a new Logitech mouse and beats headset that would not connect. the beats shouldn't even show up at all. now they both work.

Fun trick I figured out: Turn on Mouse Keys so 5 will be a left click, place your mouse cursor on top of the Bluetooth on/off button in System Settings, disconnect the wireless USB dongle that your Mac stupidly thinks is a Bluetooth device for some reason, then hit 5 on your numpad to switch off the Bluetooth button in System Settings. It worked for me. Such a dumb problem. Such a dumb solution.

Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse on Mac mini 2018. Up till yesterday everything worked. Today after upgrading to Ventura this sh&t from this cra^^y company stopped allowing to even turn the bluetooth on. This should not be that difficult after tons of money we spend to support Cook's wallet and ego. I have tried terminal solutions and even deleting plist files in the past but as I said, this should not be the case and apple should take responsibility for using us as beta testers with each software and hardware they come up with! Now I am stuck with some huge wired mouse and keyboard from 90's because all my devices from apple see my keyboard and mouse but Mac mini doesn't. Simple as that.

I have exactly the same experience with my Mac mini 2018. Bluetooth won't turn on. I tried all the solutions - except the ones that need Bluetooth to be working. I am now using an antique Windows keyboard and mouse instead of the now useless "Magic" hardware. Very annoying to have my system sabotaged by the people who designed it. I'll let you know if I find a solution that works.

None of these worked. What worked was shutting off the computer, unplugging it for 15 seconds, plugging it back in for 5 seconds and then turning it back on. Thank you, Apple Support!
