@thedieseldiet I used to go to a military school where most of the staff were ex military. Some of the scariest vet teachers were the nicest people I've ever known. Some were absolute drill sergeants, but my history and gym teachers (retired army) were extremely kind, especially when it came to kids in the school who had histories of abuse which was unfortunately common at the school.

@@hopefullyart4001”Howdy, y’all” is a way (some) people in the southern US greet each other or group of people. “Nǐ hǎo” is also how you greet people in Mandarin, and combining the two was just a funnier way for the person in that story to say hi.

I don't know how it is the world but don't another countries have teacher evalutation? In my coutry when someone goes into teaching he has to pass psychological tests and also visul test it may sound weird, but yeah they literally are checking if you can stand before student and how you look, not to give kids amo later. But nowdays they are really lose with all this bc there is not many people that want to teach but they shouldn't, like you have to be strong minded, confident, have foot on ground, be kind but let them walk on you, understanding but still hold to standarts, uplifting, supporting, simply balance, etc, bc students eat you for lunch, it is so much harder to teach now, kids think they know all, they don't need anything, everything is in phones, they think they all will be influencer or something and they will make money and do nothing, ehh, there is so little respect and parents don't help, I mean this behavior is coming from somewere and people simply feel entitied before teachers for some reason... But it is for elementarny to high school teachers. For collage it is different so I can see how he could get job and not be suited for it.... They don't really check you much hmmm 🤔 but still ifvhe was so bad from begining then I'm sure there were problem with him before but then why hire him...

Majority of the people who take on psychology have underlying issues - it’s the reason they take on the subject. It’s helpful to self assess and work on the issues through understanding the subject. They become subject matter experts. However some are beyond help. Psychopathy for example lack the connection to emotional stimulus it’s missing in their brain. Talking this out or medication will not create connection to the brain. Hypothetically even if it could, the brain develops through experience and neural networks which take years. In addition, adult do not have theta energy which is high level of energy for changes and is within children. Adults cannot function on our day to day, we’d be tired consistently.

I went to an all girls school too. My country had the rule that all senior administrators and majority of staff had to be women (the same applied for the all boys schools too but with male staff). And yet even the few heavily vetted male teachers and staff had at least one creep among them every single year I was there.
@annie_xo
@annie_xo 2 ай бұрын
There were at least 3 predatory teachers in my very small junior high school. One was our biology teacher who had been a PE teacher before but was transferred because he had been creeping in the girls locker room. Once he was touching himself in the back of the room while we were watching a video, he was sitting right behind me and my friend. I told my mom who told my homeroom teacher but nothing was done even though the whole town knew he was a p file. The other was a female teacher who was in her 40s who had a sexual relationship with her 15 year old student. To make it even worse she had a daughter the same age who was in the same class. She was fired and ended up moving far away but there was no legal consequences because 15 is the age of consent here in Sweden and it couldn’t be proved it was going on while he was in her class, which is the only situation in which it would have been illegal. The third was our PE teacher, she was very inappropriate with the girls, she’d pat our butts while we were doing headstands and stuff like that. So creepy. I really think they should be fired immediately if anything like that occurs.

My second grade teacher was my favorite. He'd give treats and gifts to us kids if we got a question right, like a Tootsie roll, new pencil, eraser, something small but useful. I had a biology teacher in 10th grade that would walk around smelling of us. She always told me I smelled like chocolate 😂😂😂. It’s sad because she really was a sweet person and an excellent teacher. 😢

I think that, along with environmental concerns about financial stability, and addictions that have become far too dangerous. There is a section in town where drug dealers and prostitution was common. They would show up before the sun ever set. With open Borders and everything laced with fentanyl, that group has literally died out. So, the tokers are can’t get weed. It’s not like the PD ran them out as they don’t care.

My 8th grade history teacher always gave me weird vibes. Middle of the year (around December) he asked me to stay after class for a moment as he needed to tell me something. He then proceeded to tell me he needs to tell me something but has to wait till the end of the year so it’s not weird. I was like umm ok- not sure why you’re telling me now…he really didn’t have anything to say. Then at the end of the year he pulled me aside and said “remember when I told you I had something to tell you?” I just nodded. He then pulled out a picture of his daughter and told me that I look like her so I reminded him of her. I was short, straight blonde hair and blue eyes. This girl had olive skin, brown eyes, and curly brown hair. He specifically said I looked like her- not that we acted similar. It was so odd. I feel like he was going to tell me something else but last minute changed his mind and said that. So strange, I never forgot it.

Our math teacher back in the 70s did that all the time he was always throwing chalk and erasers kicking chairs. He never did get physical though.

So, in high school I was a very talkative and bubbly girl with my friends and fellow students. My teacher told me (us) if there was ever a school sh o. o. ter he would hide behind me, Like, he actually pointed at me and he proceeded to say because I'd talk their ears off. I became very quiet after that and everyone noticed. took me a while to get back to normal. Once he called me to his class from my english class and then yelled at me "this is not how you take a test!" while ripping up my math test in front of other students. I was never good at math and still am not. A few months later he ripped out a girls insulin pump thinking it was a cheating device. Idk if he was ever fired, but I hope he was. Everyone hated him.

I had one teacher stick his hands down his pants saying "I'm looking for sticky buns", not as creepy as strange but he was a fun/odd teacher in that way. However I had another teacher host paintball matches quite often on his families property I went to all the time, only to find out years later he was arrested being PDF file.

@4:09, wooden chalk duster!! Yeh, remember it well, I got to meet it a few times because I'd be off in my own world in the classroom, usually sat in the back few rows, yet mostly able to inform the teacher I HAD in fact heard him, it was known I daydreamed like that. The, wooden & felt duster clocked me, (hit me upside my head!), dust from it flying everywhere around me & it hurt, but one of those occasions I had to admire that teachers accuracy, I was genuinely impressed.....

I had a bully as a teacher in high school. He got fired some years later after I graduated after he got a lot of complaints. After being bullied by teachers and othet students, I am glad I don't have to go back to school anymore.

I had a high school history teacher who was a veteran. Some kids were awful with that. Every year he explained his PTSD and many kids respected him and his boundaries. But there were a few who tried to trigger him. One kid snuck up to this teacher while his back was turned and proceeded to slam a book down on the ground. My poor teacher reacted with a yelp, barking orders and telling everyone to take cover. It was heartbreaking. The kid was actually expelled thankfully. But the light went out of that teacher after that incident

So when I was in 5th grade, I had a weird arts teacher. She was in her late 50s and would sometimes creep us out. Almost every class she would take her shoes off and put her feet on the table. She would also start combing her hair in class and would sometimes pick a random student she would send to the store to buy her a banana, a snack or whatever. But by far the weirdest thing was what happened on the 8th of march. Where I'm from it is customary for all the kids to pitch in with some cash to buy flowers for all female teachers for the international woman's day on behalf of the entire class. We did this for her too. All was fine until she started eating some of the flowers... Kids being kids, this earned her the nickname "the cow" (I know, not nice), but to this day I have no clue why she would do that in front of the entire class.

When I was in high school I had a math teacher who was I believe Chinese. He had some major anger issues. One minute he'd be calm and willing to help you, and the next he'd be throwing a fit. His pet peeve was being laughed at. One day I needed his help with a problem and called him over. Unfortunately for me willing yourself to not laugh makes it all the more impossible to stop. And it didn't help that I could see my friends sniggering in my peripheral. I never did get that help. He launched into a tirade and I was lucky to escape unhurt. I heard later in the year another kid was not so lucky. The teacher had jumped on a table and thrown a chair at this poor kid. The chairs in my day were full metal too, so I wasn't surprised to hear the kid had gone to the hospital with head injuries, was ultimately fine though. From memory I think the teacher did some jail time, and was ordered to do anger management classes as well.

Not for nothing i studied psych in college as my major and every single teacher i had was so mild mannered, calm, caring, genuinely invested in each student. Ranging from childhood devel. To abnormal psych clinical, forensic, you name it. I can’t believe the students were charged or suspended at all. That’s insane. I hope that guy had the book thrown at him no pun intended

I had a math’s teacher in highschool that always was always known as approachable and everyone liked him. I open up a newspaper a couple of years later to see the same math’s teacher was arrested for sleeping with a 16 year old student. It isn’t always the creepy ones you need to watch out for sometimes it’s the one’s that everyone likes.👀
