I once started talking to this guy online and it had only been a month. We had made like 2 plans 2 separate times to meet up but I never had a good feeling so I chickened out. One day I was at the park with all of my family and hadn’t texted him for about 2 hours. I looked at my phone and saw over 30 missed texts from him all demanding to know where I was and why I wasn’t answering. I told him I was at the park with my family and I’m not obligated to be texting him 24/7. His response was “well I’d expect you to let me know where you are and what you’re doing if you aren’t going to be texting me” I was like noooope and told him that was absolutely not going to happen and I haven’t even met him in person yet!! He called me a bitch and said deuces. Dodged a bullet big time

Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if this story was fake. For some reason he wrote a whole novel about how he ended up with his wife, which has nothing to do with the story. A lot of fake stories over-explain details in order to cover up other details that don’t make sense. The whole story is way too convenient. The restaurant worker magically discovered where this guy lives, she calls him “toxic” and she conveniently says it again outside his house, and he seems weirdly convinced the worker is targeting him after the first incident, when a reasonable person would usually consider other options before accusing someone with no evidence.

@xtoxickissesx21382 жыл бұрын
1. because she WAS nervous they were about to break the law, 2. Because she was probably terrified and thought splitting up was a good idea which it sounds like it probably was and 3. For story 5: I'll commend him for taking the story in a different direction than expected and keeping tensions high. By all accounts it sounded like this ex was egging him on so she could try to kill him. Too bad the twist is when I realized it's fake. Trying to back it up with "Oh we were followed from her apartment. We saw it on the camera footage" makes it even less believable.

@@tommyfraz.If she was in on it, why did the guys act surprised when she ran and chased her, leaving the guy alone with only 1 guy he could overpower or outrun? If she planned to run and have her friends kill him in a staged mugging attack, the attackers shouldn’t have chased her and left the actual victim. It sounds like the writer wanted to make a story about his girlfriend planning a murder but got bored and changed it to a spooky mugging story.

The one that mentioned Chat Roulette made me feel old. I never used it, but know people who did. I figured it was still around as...wasn't it yesterday? Sure seems like it. 😅 People have probably been meeting up in real life after meeting online since the earliest days of the internet. Before that, there were ads in places like the newspapers. I wouldn't be surprised if catfishing happened then. Dating has always been a risky business. Be careful and take your time falling for someone, everyone.
