I really like the secret and underground base because they look so cozy and that is what I like, and they are hidden.

I'm all about starter bases because I don't normally build humongous bases. I like to travel from biome to biome, collecting materials and crafting nice hotels for myself and my friends. I like to challenge myself using limited materials based on the biome I'm in, though, I'm usually most inclined toward mushroom houses, since they're really easy to make, and provide one of the best food sources in the game. Underground trees and farms, farms in the nether and deserts, even underwater mines are a thing I personally enjoy. It's nice to see starter builds, because they're an upgrade from the small shacks I'm used to, without requiring too much time or effort. That is more time I spend mining, battling, exploring, sometimes charting maps. When I want to build something really large-scale, it's usually a village, because I like watching villagers walk around.

I love them all! I've built 3 in my 1 world so far all in survival mode 😅 I just love how functional and pretty they are! Super easy to follow along. Just prepare to spend 2 -3 days gathering materials

I've made myself a modpack, but needed some ideas for my underground base, with most of the essentials down at the bottom. The building above would have a complex sorting system, generators, and a (AE2) storage cable connected down to the bottom for easy access. Your video has been great help, and ive used some of the designs of the larger bases for it. Thank you

just to add if you didnt like any of these or you think its not big enough just grab features from each build and combine to together to create your own massive underground base trust me the results are beautiful

Some fine looking builds. As far as a Nether portal inside the base, I would suggest setting it up in its own room with some redstone security doors just in case any Nether mobs try to follow you home (it would be especially bad if a Ghast gets in and start wrecking shop).

Orr you build a tiny bunker around your portal in the nether. Makes a safe entry and exit!

Just discovered your channel from instagram. All of these videos are so satisfying to watch. Love creativity like this. One of my first good builds was a Wooden style Mansion that i built in the side of a mountain. Got the idea from a guy i use to watch ages ago when i was young. I believe his name was Tyken123 or something like that. All of these remind of his builds and brings back memories of the good old days. Keep doing what you are doing! I really appreciate this video. I play modded Minecraft, and tend to build underground. In modded, you need around ten times as much (or even more) space for storage, crafting setups, power generation, magic stuff, etc. For me, building full homes with beautiful roofs is a really daunting task. I have been trying to challenge myself to build more above-ground. Maybe the right approach is to build one or two large houses above ground, and then expand underground when I need more space for mod stuff. Either way, this video has given me a lot of inspiration for just that!

In all of my underground bases, I tend to place barrels at the bottom of all the "support pillars" to not only give some extra flare to the base, but also use for functional storage!

funny storry. Currently have a server open with a fiew friends(i think around 10 ppl in total in the server rn) . Me, my brother and my 2 online friends are in a team n we made "decoy" bases. Then a bunker base. We relized the same say u can see and hear uss from the bunker (manetags and talking)(yes we are using proxy chat) so we tested the range (around 70 blocks) n rrelised ppl can literly see and hear uss in our bunker. SO WE MADE A NEW BUNKER UNDER THE OLD ONE AND CALLED IT THE DECOY BUNKER.... there is only one way up and that is to do /home. anyways. how u get into the decoy bunker is by going thru 3 different entrencess.(piston doors). not verry hidden, BUT THE NEW ONE IS MAXING. so in the chest room in the decoy bunker there is a specific staircase yoou can waterlog so a piston will open for a split second n if u fall down the holoe u will fall for like 70 ish blocks. anyways, have been playing on the server for almost 9 hours straight bouilding the bunker and im runing out of ideas XD........
