Does anyone know, is it a myth that you should brush out your locks before cutting because the hairs zig zag all crazy in the dread and the tip might not actually be at the tip so by cutting before brushing you could cause breakage because you're cutting connections? Sorry that's difficult to explain. I would love for this to be a myth because brushing before a trim kinda sucks alot, but if it saves you in the long run from losing more length I'd rather take my time.
