At 20:24 the resources lost jumps up for Ketroc by about 10k so it seems like repair loss is counted when the building is destroyed.
@LaughNgamez2 ай бұрын
Wow great catch! Definitely didn't know that but I wonder if it does that for units getting repaired too.
@Ketroc2 ай бұрын
@@LaughNgamez ya, units lost includes all repair costs... but only if the repaired unit dies. The time and cost of a full repair is 25% of the production time and cost. Once corruptors charge up to that 5x damage mode, the repair cost is very significant.
@Markfr0mCanadaАй бұрын
Interesting stuff to learn, but it would be better if repair costs were counted at the time of repair. BC wave for example is efficient (if done right), but not free.
@KetrocАй бұрын
@@Markfr0mCanada ya, at most a BC costs 100/75 to repair. So Yamato 1 unit and jump away is barely profitable if the BC loses all its HP in the process. When you account for lost mining to repair, opportunity cost on the BC cooldowns, and chance to lose the BC, it's pretty bad to roam with BCs only enemy antiair is strong.

Resources lost on repair should definitely be integrated. That one ling, though...

at 2:40 the ling run by stopped the barracks from landing, that broke bots mind :D

Nah there was already a supply depot there, which is weird, did the bot misplay?

I really enjoy your commentary and nobody else is casting bot games, man. I watch so much sc2 and it's awesome to have something different to watch. Subscribed. More bots!

I haven't seen any bots land vikings. Is that a game version thing, or just none of them are programmed to? Like with burrow micro, it seems like something bots could use way more effectively than humans.

I'm not sure but it seems like in the end repairing that planetary might not have been a mistake because for all that time ketroc was mining caninana's gas, and in the end lack of gas was what killed it
@ciCCapROSTi2 ай бұрын
You can simply direct missiles turrets where to attack.
@Knowbody422 ай бұрын
yeah, but a human can't tell the turret to just not attack anything when there is _something_ in range. You can tell a unit to move command, and it won't attack things while moving. There is no move command for buildings (well, except for lifted/uprooted buildings)

i wonder why the zerg bot never produced vipers. Fungal growth + parasitic bomb should have been very effective against terran's sky army
@brandonsaffell4100Ай бұрын
Most zerg bots are not programmed to use vipers. We might speculate about the "eat your buildings for energy" mechanic. Regardless, building vipers is rarely programmed into zerg bots.
@ratoshovitАй бұрын
Caninana has Viper support, but based on enemy composition it decided to not use them as with that many Vikings they most likely will be killed before casting a spell. It considers fungals and neurals a better option.
