Another great video! Myself I enjoy either long videos or lots of videos coming out one after the other over a shorter period of time. Car repair videos are like therapy for me.

So glad you enjoy them. To make an hour video, I have about 4 to 5 hours of footage that I cut up to make something that interesting. Honestly the filming and editing take way longer than the actual repairs 😆 I actually have the car driving. Just not the time to get the videos together. The 19th content on this video was fine.. I do like to 30 minute videos give or take. I can see you just got rolling on it and kept making a video where maybe he can make two videos. You had a whole another episode. Okay now I'm going to be on the other side of the board. I personally like how you don't just stop 🛑. Get rolling and keep going like you did on this one. Erase the natural stopping point. I'm afraid that my comment up to this point won't be that helpful. I was just watching a short on audio archeology when two of you have teamed up. The heavy Chevy Chevelle. I am glad to see that you are going to get back to the mustang. I was kind of wanting to see that again because I like seeing father daughters and father son collaborations

My 79 Caprice 2 door had those helper shocks on it (installed by the previous owner traveling salesman)... When the trunk was empty it looked like it had air shocks. You could actually see the frame above the tire in the back. In the winter I could put 400 lbs in the trunk and it was still up slightly in the back. Most of them seemed like they were dragging the back when they had weight in them.

Funny you posted this just now, I was reading an article about this gen Falcon on the Curbside Classic site (look up "1970½ Ford Falcon: Mission Implausible"). Apparently you could have had any engine option you wanted so maybe a 429 Cobra Jet Ram Air replica is a possibility😃. But I hear you on the priorities thing...

When I heat up the brake line like you did , I always have a spray bottle of water. Spray water on the hot parts and then the nut should crack loose without distorting the line or the nut . I also use heat like that on really rusty wheel hubs. Heat and water and the rust will clean up with a wire wheel.

With the cowl issue I would get a cheap scope and run it inside to see how bad it is inside, if it's not bad you can patch the hole.

That tank probably smells as bad on the one on my project the U S Army 1952 Dodge 3/4 T. 4x4 M37 cargo carrier. It was so bad in the tank it had actually solidified most of the gas. I ended up making a temp gas tank out of a 5 gallon Gerry can that is strapped inside the back corner of the bed. For being out in the woods that long I am surprised the Falcorino 's entire bottom isn't rusted out. Well getting it moving and griving and braking are pretty much necessary.

You know you was talking about being invested into this car and the rest I've always wanted to have the skills to do the things you do however I learned carpentry instead as my father was a carpenter but I figure it like this you do what you do for the love of it and to be able to provide these old pieces of History a second chance say the question becomes do you want to fix it and put it back on the road and give it a second chance at life if so and for the love of doing it because chances are if you doing it to make a profit you're probably not going to for me if I had your skills and have that car it would be a no brainer I would bring it back and enjoy it just food for thought
