Haha I love endurance, because in a 4-5 laps short race it's very difficult to try including any strategies especially if we got involved in Lap 1 T1 carnage it's an instant game over where in a long race there are always opportunities to fight back to the top. Just my personal preference haha 🤣

Hey man, nice video! Now i know im def not buying that extra pack lol. I go with the CSL DD with the bmw wheel which is a great deal. If i look correctly u have that exact wheel. How does it feel??

Thanks man. Yes I use the BMW CSL wheel. For the price, it exceeded my expectations. The rim is thick and solid, the surface is very nice to touch with some patterns/texture on it, feels pretty premium. I think it will be great if it has a rotary (6 ways) but for the price I m not complaining. I use this wheel for street/classic cars, rally and truck sim and it works wonderfully, actually I use this more than my McLaren now. They have a black version which is even cheaper but I think it's only available for limited time.

Still going well. I have been using it regularly since purchased and I never turn the wheelbase off even when PC is off.

Apparently they have sorted the exposed wires on the end of the connector , I have one coming next week

I am pretty slow too tbh lol my best time on Spa is 2:20 in ACC. However, while upgrading may help with lap time, it wasn't my main reason to upgrade, it was more about "immersion", or in fact, I was just itchy to spend money hahahahah

Hmm it has been pretty consistent to me thou, didn't feel any deterioration of torque and I have been using mine quick regularly. However I have not done any actual testing so I am just going by my feel.

I did that and also changed the outlet it was plugged in. I don’t know maybe I did just get used to it because I was thinking of something was wrong then it would disconnect or be making some sound or another but everything else seems fine.

@@P.I.D.27 If something were to break, overheat, melt..etc..and you send it in for repair or replacement, Fanatec would see that you have not purchased their Power Supply, yet you have the firmware and update history installed to make it boost kit 180. hence.. voided and not repairable or replaceable any more.

I believe it is 150euro, but still, imo that is overpriced for essentially a laptop power supply. If one has some soldering skill, it can be done even cheaper than what I paid on AliExpress 🤣 I believe they are selling it so expensive is to cover the low price they selling the CSL DD for.

@@cmorin522 LOL first of all, I like your name!! 🤣 Secondly, I have only used it for the 2 laps in the video + a 15mins race so far, so can't really make any final conclusion yet, but no issues at the moment. Will try this on different sim racing titles and also run some longer races to see how it goes.

People based in Europe DO NOT BUY THIS. mine came this afternoon with a US power cable and the connection to the wheel is like a 4 pin connector 😢😢 People said it to me before...i said then ali is always bad and i got right again 😪
