Hi, I've just bought the Ken Auto bushings for my 07 NC. Maybe I was a bit of a sucker buying the most expensive ones, but all the reviews were positive, and at time of purchase these were the only ones I had seen. Hopefully they make a noticeable difference.

They'll make a difference for sure. I especially noticed the car made fewer creaking noises when approaching a steep incline diagonally. In hindsight, I do wish I had gotten some cheaper ones on Ebay cz they work just as well. 🤷♂️

@@TachOnRed Ah well, we can console ourselves with the thought that, as you stated, we are supporting the innovators rather than the copycats. Great looking channel by the way, loads to watch. Cheers.

Hi, This is Ken from KENAUTO in Japan. When I started the KZbin app today, I unexpectedly came across your KZbin channel featuring the Door Bushings video. It was a very interesting video. Thank you for addressing the topic of our door bushings. I would like to discuss something regarding the KZbin video. May I share your KZbin video on our social media?

I just got my Ken Auto ones for my NC because like you, wanted to support the original creators. I had ebay ones on my NA which worked well Went to install the KA and fitment isnt great. Sure its snug, but the depth is far too great. Think Ill chuck the NA ones in for now and figure out how to grind them down later

Thank you for watching, Chris. Surprised you need to grind them that much. Sounds like they're off by quite a bit. Then again, perhaps too snug is better than too loose?

Same for my NC, passenger fits like a glove, but the driver side is giving me a hard time. Even after 30 min of sanding, closing the door is pretty hard. I put back the oem bushing until I figure out how much sanding it still needs. Very disapointed if you consider the price.

I ended up taking 1mm off the base and both fit well. For the price, I would not recommend Ken Auto

I think the fact that you may or may not have to sand them is more indicative of the individual wear pattern of structural components due to age, mileage, environment, wrecks, stress, whatever. Seems kind of small minded to dismiss the manufacturer based on the way that your car has been driven. Hell, I'm not s mechanical engineer though but I bet somebody at Ken Auto is. Not against buying the cheaper option, just you can't bash a vendor on a part thats fit may vary due to wear. They can't put all the mileage on your car for you to tailor a part that fits it specifically perfect.
