“Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park” was filmed at Six Flags Magic Mountain just outside Los Angeles. Since it’s close to Hollywood, the park gets used often in tv shows and movies. Most notably it was used as the setting for Wally World in the first National Lampoon’s Vacation movie.

I was under a year old when all these commercials aired as well as kiss meets the phantom of the park, which by the way was one of my favorite movies as an 80s kid

Normally I see the description before I watch the video, but I did it backwards tonight. The Log Cabin ad screamed chroma key to me right away, and funny to see Disco to Disco in two back to back ads as well as the Mexican man saying "PEPTO-BEESMOHL!" But there was one thing that needed to be said - SWISS MISS CREEPY ANIMATION!

The actor in the Sanka ad is Robert Young (Father Knows Best, Marcus Welby).

The two McDonald's employees are Ernest Harden Jr (Marcus on The Jeffersons) and Ira Augustain (Gomez from The White Shadow).

It’s wild to see Cheetos as “Chee-tos” and without Chester the Cheetah (he debuted in 1986).

this video is full of great commercials! Too many to comment about... wow, I would watch those NBC movies "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and "Summer of My German Soldier"... then shortly after the cute baby in the V.D. commercial

Fred Facey was on duty at WNBC on the first ID (with Mr. Nimoy), then Bill Rippe took over for the rest. The "NBC Saturday Night at the Movies" bumper V/O's were by Peggy Taylor out of Burbank. But she was not through with the film in the least - nor it, with her. A couple years later, this flick was repeated on "NBC Late Night Movie," and who should be on duty to do the bumpers but . . . Peggy Taylor!

Gott in Himmel, that Swiss Miss stop motion lady is one of the most terrifying things I have ever seen. If I saw that thing rounding a corner all slowly, talking about how Swiss Miss lite still has the flavor of the original as she uses her Swissmissy Hypno-Eyes to paralyze me, my hair would turn white and I would release the Kraken all over the inside of my pantaloons.

McDonald’s- I wonder if this commercial is what inspired the creation of the McDonaldland Fry Kids characters. Milk- Interesting idea to have the Restaurant in this commercial serve Milk from a Soda Fountain.

I was so stick on Halloween 1978 that I missed Trick-or-Treat. Too bad I never got to watch this, uh, "cult classic". And being a KISS fan, this was LAAAAAAAAME!
