People under a certain age really have no understanding of how there was a constant cloud of smoke everywhere you went. People and places went out of their way to accommodate smokers. Now even the outside smoking areas are disappearing. In the early days of smoking bans there was still a sort of compassion and accommodation for smokers, now it's "F you, if you want to smoke, drive home and smoke and come back."

That starred Leslie Neilsen, with Alan North. That later was reworked into the Naked Gun trilogy movies. When they moved from the TV show to the films, Alan North was replaced with George Kennedy and Peter Lupus was replaced with OJ Simpson, with the character's name altered slightly to "Nordberg." Not only is Peter still alive, but he continues to do bodybuilding and break weightlifting records ever 5 years according to imdb.
