I like it, i bought another one for my xlt! the red overheat light isn't very visible on the old xlt tach and I like the digital readout on the digatron.

It all comes down to who owns the dealer ship, how long they've been doing it, if the business has been in the family for generations etc. Every owner is different and having staff who dont give a shit can really make a difference. It helps to have an owner who deals with there customers one on one w/ no bs and takes pride in there work and business regardless of the brand. Ive had no troubles with my local Ski-Doo dealer.

I'll be honest with you, I've noticed the same thing, I've owned everything but a cat and the yami and polaris dealers (more than one) have always been very nice and helpful, some doo dealers are good but others not so much. Times are changing, if they want business they'll change their interpersonal and business skills.

Great installation instruction video here. Love these Digatron guages. I ended up getting the Race Pak Avenger III however. Not sure if one is better than the other.

I know the local Dealership mentions on there website that they have been open for upwards of 35years, seems like a long time to be open and are still open. I know the staff does actually try to take pride in there work but there is only 3 people in the dealership max, one is the owner and the others are a hired mechanics, the owner takes care of pretty much everything. Ive heard of friends going to other dealerships and having similar problems getting stuff...
@w1ldyovvnz12 жыл бұрын
When my father owned his Ski doo he always hated the customer service, the local Ski doo dealership ( Jim primroses ) took forever to get parts, etc. to buy something off the shelf you were waiting for upwards of 4 hours, to get your sled fixed it would be in the shop for upwards of 3 months, I have also heard of alot of other Ski doo dealers that are similar. Then his Mach Z blew up with 2,000 miles on it(he used it for trail riding) so he totally gave up on Ski doo ever since.
@MacintoshBoy6612 жыл бұрын
Yeah but it depends when he went to them to get the frame fixed, if there were starting to switch gears and getting ready for winter then I could see why. Even a shop that will work on any thing sometimes will be slow fixing something if there focused on sleds cuz every body is getting ready for winter.

Other skidoo dealerships, I know a guy who has an outlander 650 and bent the frame, the dealership expects him to have it next year which seems to be a long time to change everything over. Alot of us only go to dealerships for small things and parts. If the ski doo dealerships around here were a little quicker and more helpful I would probably be ok with a skidoo.
@w1ldyovvnz12 жыл бұрын
I see that but what do they do when the sled rush is over and its not spring yet? Each dealership is different its just how weird alot of people around where I live thinks that skidoo in general doesn't have a good customer service.
@w1ldyovvnz12 жыл бұрын
Thats the big reason my father didnt stay with Skidoo, I went there to get there BV2S helmet and it took me 4 hours to get the helmet then they didnt have a helmet without a heated visor. I would probably go with Ski doo if the dealerships would change, but ill continue driving to Prescott to the polaris dealer and stay with polaris because I can call and get an answer on the phone if not they will email me when the find out.

Subscribed Did an engine swap now the digatron won’t work properly anymore Powers up Everything used to display on the same screen (4) now one set of egts and water temp need to be scrolled for I don’t understand how to set it up to where it displays everything at the same time again like water temp 2 egts and rpm Not a fan of their available manual / troubleshooting Thinking of going a different brand

I’ve got a 2000 summit 700 HIGH MARK, always have a issue with a hanging idle, it hangs up around 3,000 rpm, blip the choke and it settles down to a regular idle. Any ideas?? Sled runs great, gone thru the carbs. New vforce reeds and intake boots. I live at 9,00ft.

I haven't ridden my sled in about 2 years since it was rebuilt and took it out shortly and noticed one side of my EGT at part throttle is higher than the other. I am running an analog dual EGT guage. I have a 2001 RMK with ported/polished heads and twin pipes. I am running 90 octane as that's all I can get here. One side is showing 800, the other side is showing 400. I assume the lower side is running lean due to more airflow in the cylinder, thus cooling the exhaust gas? I bought the sled from a guy that had one cylinder burned up for next to nothing and then rebuilt the entire sled. I want to make sure I don't burn it up. I jetted needles, main jets, pilots etc according to SLP's recommendation. The only staggered jets are the main jets, per SLP's recommendation.

Try to imagine the blue flame coming out the jug and down the pipe at rev's , ideal location last inch of straight pipe apx. 12" from piston center, tip of the blue the hottest point in the power flame similar to what you see in a funny car.

The Koso hook up should be about the same as Digatron I would imagine. I just recently hooked up the Race Pak Avenger III on my sled, and it was about the same as Louis's instructions.

Other Ski-Doo dealers or other dealers in general? I hardly ever go to the dealer to get parts unless I can only get it threw them. I go there to buy my swag and for tune ups and shit
