Can't believe someone would ask "why do use GPS so much". I drove for 25 years in the 80, and "90's and used the old reliable Rand Mcnally for truckers! I got GPS the minute it became available and never looked back! No more wondering if I'm on the right way! No more worrying about low bridges! Especially in Chicago! Back then I heard so many driver say "I just drive in and follow my nose", how supid! Stay safe Dan and Bailey!

Thanks SuperTruckerDan! Way back in the 70s I learned from my father he did a lot of farm deliveries and pick ups! You know I want it back there around the three barns and pole buildings! I was taught by the Best just my thought! You kinda remind me of him! After 40 years of trucking myself I still work for our local Hwy dept plowing roads going into winter here in NE Indiana. I was glad to see that you connected the cable to the power source last( I wouldn't expect any anything different from you), but some people connect to the source first then walk back to their vehicle carrying a live cable in their hands, which can be very dangerous, especially in wet conditions. Anyway, thanks for your videos, and I hope you and Bailey have many more miles together. From a retired UK lorry driver. (We call trucks lorries over here, but it's the same job).

I started using the Garmin Dēzl GPS. When it's connected to Bluetooth, it also gives traffic updates while also showing alternative routes to avoid it. It's also a truck specific unit so it accounts for truck and hazmat routes.

I like gps just so I know how far my exit is if I want to pass or just milage for rates and to check posted loads milage we all no brokers lie about mileage these days
