I just started school and I do the circles when using 6010s I used 7018s for the first time today and did the same pattern and it turned out fine 🤷🏾♂️

Is circle pattern good?, if then i wanna adopt it cuz my welds aren't enough for my tastes, i want them to better and stronger

@@lucasfromdavalley but fr tho, is circular weaving good enough, i really like that.

First bead is narrower and maybe a little taller than the rest. Triangles are the widest. Pattern on the beads is pretty much the same across all of 'em. Try it with some 6011 and I'd bet the difference is more pronounced.

I figure i'd try 6013 and 6011 next.

@@-DIYPRO-dont do a weave with 6013 because of 6013 thick slag doing a weave will cause slag to get in the weld

My school teaching us whip n pause with 6010 but the drag with 7018 my thing is with 7018 how long do you let it sit before dragging
@MrOsiric Жыл бұрын
sir, whats the rationale of doing weaving? It looks to me that it gives fatter/wider coverage when Compared to just straight/no weave. But all of them result in similar "caterpilar" like forms no different from each other in the end... ?
@rembleekah8722 Жыл бұрын
Exactly, they all are the same and all will be structurally fixed. It comes down to ego when it comes to these different styles of welding.. stick to pattern #1 call it a day..

Would you apply the weave pattern when welding perpendicular pieces? Would like to see a video on that as I have only seen it applied to flat test pieces. Great videos!
@-DIYPRO- Жыл бұрын
Depending on the thickness, yes. Thinner pieces won't need it but I'd say 3/16" and above you'll want to tie in to both pieces.

People have their preference. Really it depends on the position. For this flat plate it doesn't matter.
