Hi ,I got a set which look almost the same internal . But it got a brand on it."KKMoon" My set screen turns white but radio still working, touch screen still sound. Do u know what wrong with it ? Thanks!

i have the 7021G good little player/GPS if you use a good GPS antenna, only one problem for me is its music quality and volume so i changed capacitor 2200μf to 6800μf/25v and the IC i changed TDA7388 to PA2030A ... you can also use TDA7850

What would changing the capacitor do. I've got one of these it works for about 5 mins then won't turn on but can turn it off for a few seconds then will work for about 5 minutes again

Ricky changing the power capacitor cleans up the power delivery. If yours won’t go more than 5 minutes then dies, it’s either a thermal issue or defective chip. I replaced the thermal compound with arctic silver (for computer processors) for the hell of it. Basically this is a cheap crap radio and I wanted to see if it was worth a damn. It’s not If you’re willing to disassemble the radio and get some good thermal paste, then try cleaning off the white goo and do a thin spread of new stuff. Make sure the chip gets pressed flat with no gaps against the aluminum back plate.

Changed the paste and it sorted it out for the first 10 minutes then went back to being the same do you think the mosfet needs changed?

2 questions. do you know if there is a firmware update. ive looked for months now trying to figure out some kinda update. and also do you know if there is a way to get less static when playing the radio. i get alot of fuzz when playing the radio. other than that the radio is not to bad for what a cheap radio.

there are no firmware updates that i know of, this is a cheap use or toss radio. as for the static, i never found a fix other than adding a second chassis ground to the radio, but it didnt help much

I was looking for a teardown as you have done to see how it is inside. The pitty is that the Windows CE 6.0 system is very outdated and almost impossible to get an updated GPS software. Mine has very bad quality sound and makes lots of chirps and bangs when conected to the car with the engine off, and it "whistles" the first minutes of the first day start! (I think I'll try to get better ground between RCA and chassis). By now the GPS stoped working (many people has had the same isue) (but since it was outdated and now I use google maps for navigation from my cell phone), and my kids love to see movies by the rear screens I wont complain. If it fails one day I'll try to atach an orange pi pc or similar to savage the touch screen. Obviusly it has more work that it seems. PD: you can attach a raspberry pi or similar via de RCA video input (no touchscreen). Thanks for your video!

your unit is defective. these were made for around $2 so if you want, try to get it replaced. there is nothing much more to di unless you know how to program with a jtag

papi shiludo it worked pretty well. Bluetooth from my iPhone was garbled, but otherwise if you’re looking for a super cheap radio... it’s good enough. I have since sold the vehicle I had it installed in and got another one with CarPlay support.

as far as i saw, there is no easy way to add the gps function to this radio, all the parts required are omitted

Indeed have no GPS only a socket to connect a GPS dong then an USB module have the SW to decode GPS signal and make all the job for display; depending on exporter all come together or you have to by the navigation kit

No it does not. It does have a stereo output but it's on the rear channel. After using the unit in my truck for many months now, the sound quality isnt that great. Sounds like the crappy low bitrate mp3s. Also the radio itself seems to have noise on all inputs no matter what you're playing. The Bluetooth audio is sub par. It works, yes. Is it good? Sorta. If you're on an absolute budget and need a car radio, sure! Go for it
