School Of The American Rifle just did an inspection on 2 random 'freedom uppers' and they got a B+ with only minor defects.

It's fine if you own the tools and have the knowledge to do the repairs. Disassemble half the upper is not going to happen without several hundred dollars in the proper tools.

I saw that and was very impressed! A B+ or Pass, when other, higher priced ones Fail, on 2 random PSA Freedom uppers... No small Feat and PSA has gone up to #6 of the best AR-15 makers, but I can't remember the exact group, NSSF, maybe? I'll think of the group later... But they'd never broken the 10th best, till this year! Very impressive!

If that's the video I am thinking of, one of the uppers had the barrel slightly clocked and the gas tube slightly misaligned. The bolt resisted going easily into battery. Just saying. I still think PSA is perfectly fine since we know they will replace anything with issues. They don't seem to have serious issues often. I also saw him do an autopsy on a very high end barrel where they missed doing the rifling. Which shows even top-tier companies can let crap get through once in a while.

😮 incase u didn't notice the FREEDOM WEEK prices are the same as freedom 3 Wednesday of the of the month ,,, freedom month , freedom year , freedom yesterday , freedom tomorrow... shits always the same prices i like PSA but there always putting out the same deal just re-wording the title.....AND MOST OF ALL THEY DONT GIVE A MILITARY DISCOUNT...😢

If you track the prices consistently you will actually notice slight variation. just as an example those complete lowers like the one in the video are typically running at 119.99, a long with this, there are plenty of items that are now free shipping that weren't before. The differences may be slight but it's good to still find the right moment to take advantage when you're on a budget. The whole thing with military discount is still a bummer regardless.
