Great video! I got a nexon and this is a perfect guide. Thanks a lot! One question, can we rotate the front camera? Sometimes in any unfortunate event people come up to the side windows and start creating scene. In that case can we rotate the camera to either side for recording?

It's great that you found the video helpful, unfortunately the camera only rotates front and back to some extent hence capturing the side view is not possible, actually it is still now meant to capture front side incidents..may be in near future some company comes up with 360 degree options ..hope this helps..have a safe and relaxed drive ☺️

Hello, Let me ask you this, have you used vaccume sun shades for your car or even mobile holders for car? If not, someone you may know who used those in your friend circle..over period of time it's capability to withstand will loose due to heat on the windscreen itself..Am using A500S for couple of years now..it remains as is till now (at least in my case) and 4k takes larger capacity in storage..if you are not making any content out of those footages then full hd is more than good enough (IMO)..and if you are making any content also, most people watches contents in phone and those phones are NOT 4k we know. Hope this clears your doubt to some extent..pls let me know if you have further queries..

Hey, we connect to the dashcam through wifi to view and/download the footage, so as long as you are viewing or downloading the footages you won't be able to use your mobile data, but as soon as you disconnect the connection with dashcam, you are back to original. Hope this clarifies your dount.

Cam requires 12v power, that direct usb (5v)cannot provide, hence if you are planning to connect dashcam directly to car usb it won't work. Connect the car charger to the provided socket and plug the cam cable into the usb port in the car charger.. hope this helps and it's good to see you find the video useful. Can we dismount a dashcam and remount it on a new car? I'm thinking of buying a dashcam long term, but I'm not sure if I can reuse the dashcam if I buy a new car in between. Even if I buy extra plastic strip, will the adhesive on the dashcam itself work if I unstick it from somewhere and then try to restick it? I'd really appreciate some help on this. The adhesive is kind of one time use, recently I removed one camera to fix another. One thing is for sure the adhesive will not be of same kind as it used to be in first case..it may fit and stay but I doubt how long it stays firmly there in new car. I would suggest if you are planning to buy a new car soon then buy the dashcam post buying your new car.. alternatively you can buy the electrostatic stickers and mounting bracket from nexdigitron (www.nexdigitron.com/collections/mounts-stickers) site if the first don't fit in the new car. Check the website first, decide on the model and see if brackets are available for the model you are choosing. Hope this helps!!

Technically you can, however you don't want residue left on your windshield (if not using the electrostatic sticker).. whereas using the sticker on the windshield doesn't leave any residue after removal..so choice is yours 😊

Hi Amit, yes you can, however the sticker that you affix in the glass may not have the same capacity to stick as before..best would be 1. try to get the sticker first (online/offline) and then remove 2. You can try online (see if it is available in Amazon, you may get it from the nexdigitron website) 3. Try to remove the existing sticker from the glass carefully and see if the same can be used in different position as you wish.. Hope this helps!!

No, I actually don't require that as my car stays in a covered parking area..that cable is ideal if the car is parked outside.. however if you wish you can use the surveillance cable but keep in mind NOT to keep the car idle for long it may drain the battery..turn on the ignition in regular intervals to be on safer side..hope this helps!!

Hello, Then there is a challenge. Assuming you are looking for dual dash cam, if the socket is not provided by the car company it is quite difficult to get/arrange power for the rear camera or even get the cable arranged even for front camera as it would be messy (assuming you have provision at the front). However, a simple hack is you can use power bank at the rear and connect both the cam but that is just a work around. Hope this helps. Cheers!!

Electrostatic sticker should have a layer to peel off before sticking on to the glass, if you feel the gum somehow is gone then you may have to buy the sticker again..

Hello Vaasu, In my car there is an extra power socket that is behind the rear (head rest) seat (left door side)..I connected from that socket..If you car also has that extra socket you can get the power from there and keep the front socket for your phone charge..hope this helps!!

Hey Vijay, good to know that you find the video useful. Are you talking about the scenario for- 1. Parking surveillance kit or 2. Without parking surveillance kit? In case it is no 1, then ideally nothing is expected to happen in just 2 days however if it is more days/weeks with engine off then you may have battery drainage issues. In case it is no 2, then don't worry at all. Nothing will happen as cam goes off as soon as the ignition is off. You even don't need to remove the power socket. So, nothing to worry even your car is off. Hope this helps, pls let me know if you still have any questions.

Hey Vijay, What kind of connector the dashcam is providing? 1. USB or 2. Socket If it is 1 then you can connect with USB, but I doubt if USB (5v) can fetch that much power (12v) for dash cam And if it is 2, then you have to connect it to power socket provided in the car. It all depends what comes with camera as the company will provide the power cable based on its capacity and requirements. Hope this helps, thanks!

Hello, the idea is to cover the areas of the vehicle along with the road. In this case, front portion of bonnet areas where people may bump in or vice versa (hope that ahould never happen with anyone) and that will help to identify who did that. So set the focus in such a way where your bonnet area is visible (mainly all the edges, as that areas touch first with other vehicles/persons) and the road as well. You can refer how I set the focus in the video as a reference. Hope this helps.

Hello Ganesh, you can do it yourself if you're not connecting it to fusebox for parking surveillance, like in our case me and my friend simply laid & hid the cable as shown and didn't connect it to fusebox for parking surveillance (as it will drain the battery if the car is not started/used for a week or more). If you still want to do it from outside you can visit any car accessories shop.. Hope this helps.
