Mine is a Top-Vision terrestrial and astronomical telescope F300-70M and I was wondering how to put the piece on for the phone and now I see what you connected it to. Really enjoyed your video

Just in time for Nishimura comet! I was uncertain about magnification power. 150x? I was hoping 400x.
@BeatTheBushDIY Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's pretty low cost so you wont get to 400x with this.

@BeatTheBushDIY i wonder if digital zoom works with this? My camera has 50x zoom that I use for taking pictures of the moon sometimes.
@BeatTheBushDIY Жыл бұрын
If you look at the video where Ali the fox is largest, you'll notice a bit of chromatic aberration already. Hence, if you zoom in any more, you'll magnify these effects. Hence, it's best to only use an un-zoomed view from the phone.

You got the eyepiece magnifications quite wrong. 12 is the middleground, 6 is the highest and 20 is the lowest.

The determination is based on the size of the object after using various eye pieces.

Hi! It's 15:45 in South Africa. I need help finding my first perfect telescope.. I would really like to have an android one.. one that can both work for the night skye but also for wildlife and whale watching.. seems the android ones might be too strong for wildlife/whale watching. We do have a sea view and can see the whales from our house.. with binoculars better.. but I really want a telescope.. please help! Annelie

Can i use this for moon and deep space? I hope you can help me. Because i want to buy something that i can use for deep space and moon on a budget with the best picture quality. Also something that can accommodate a mirrorless camera.

Did you buy a better telescope? I want to buy one also and I’m undecided.

Is it worth to buy this sir ? I am planning to buy one telescope

I would consider this fair hobbyist quality. Good for the price but the more you pay the higher quality optics you get.

1:05 Are you sure that you have gotten that right? I think you ought to kick your script writer :-) Apart from that faux pas all is good in this video :-)
@BeatTheBushDIY7 ай бұрын
You got me there. I had to look it up to reconfirm what is shown in the video is indeed correct. The mm to zoom calculation is not the same as in a camera lens.
@DinsDale-tx4br6 ай бұрын
@@BeatTheBushDIY That is quit bizarre. 'Zoom' is a function of lenses, not the device the lenses are held in, indeed a telescope is merely a camera without a film. You say you 'had to look it up' could you show the link please? The order to use eye pieces is linear hence 20. 12.5 , 6 and then 4 if you have one.
@BeatTheBushDIY6 ай бұрын
Don't remember which site. Zoom = telescope mm / eye piece mm
@DinsDale-tx4br6 ай бұрын
@@BeatTheBushDIY That is indeed correct! Like |I said: the script writer messed up. But, I did as well when I said 'linear' I should have said 'descending order'. Note it's 'Telescope focal length' /eye piece NOT the 70mm aperture, even so the order would still be the same.
