Danke für die Empfehlung / Hinweis zum AKG K701!! Nachdem vor 2 Wochen mein Beyerdynamic DT1990 Pro kurz nach der Garantie aus heiterem Himmel einen defekten Treiber hat und die Reperaturkosten sich fast auf 190€ Belaufen (wenn man dannach sucht gibt es scheinbar echt viele die von diesem Designfehler oder geplante Obsoleszenz betroffen sind) mach ich jetzt einen bogen um die. Da kam der günstige AKG genau richtig und insbesondere mit EQ finde ich den Sound äußerst beindruckend! Am AKG K701 fühlt sich zwar im vergleich zum 4,5 mal so teurem beyerdynamic alles nach sehr nach dünnem und billigeren plastik an aber Online findet man tonnenweise Informationen wie sich solche Dinger auch nach Jahren noch gut und günstig reparieren lassen, hab da also keien all zu große Sorgen. Was bringt einem dagegen noch so tolle und lange Ersatzteilverfügbarkeit eines deutschen ^Herstellers, wenn die Ersatzteile extrem teuer sind und sich eine reparatur deshalb garnicht wirklich lohnt?

Can confirm. Rode Podcaster is great! USB dynamic microphone that can do podcasting, singing and guitar recording. Versatile and handy for roughing out a track.

That Vocaster actually looks like it would make a great acoustic guitar setup. I wonder if it can also be plugged into an iPhone. Imagine the mobile studio potential for an acoustic guitarist and/or vocalist if mobile connectivity is possible whether plugged in directly via a provided cable or via an iPhone camera kit adapter. 🤔

Cannot recommend the Rode Podcaster. Especially when you can get the entire focusrite bundle for less. It looks identical to the Rode Procaster (which is black) but it sounds terrible. Go for the Focusrite bundle for less money and get an interface for free which does broadcaststyle processing.
