Jeremy -- What a treat! Made me feel like I was with you all the long snowy way. I've lived in Chicago, Boston and Tahoe, so I am acquainted with snow and cold -- closed highways, impossible impassable roads, icy pavement, frigid hands, etc., but this trip of yours is how to see the snow for all its beauty, without the agony of living in it. Snow-capped Fuji in the sun! Please keep it up -- Saturday morning without Jeremy is unthinkable.

Thanks Charlie. Stay tuned on Saturdays - there are more snowy train rides and town walks from all over Hokkaido coming :)

gorgeous train. Also a dream for me to ride the super fast Hayabusa to Aomori and Hakodate. In another 20 years it is planned to go all the way to Sapporo. Tokyo direct to Sapporo will be amazing.

It will be wild. And it's scheduled to open quicker than that -- 2030!

@@T1DWanderer I hope that schedule holds Jeremy. Being a cynical American, its hard to believe that, but Japan generally sticks to the timetable.

Thanks for the ride, Jeremy. It was cool. The tunnels? ... since I tend to be claustrophobic when its cold and dark and I' m 500 feet under water, I was glad when we got to the other side. Lets not do that again. Thanks for taking us all along...It was a good ride as always, and the train is beautiful. We rag-tag bunch of viewers get to take the easy way while you do all the work. I enjoy going on your adventures from here in little Holly Springs, USA. THR

I ride through those tunnels so you don't have to! Funny you should use the phrase "ragtag"; I use it myself in an upcoming video when describing a little local mountain train I'm on. It's an apt phrase

What a great videolog! Thank you so much for the in-depth experience of the "tunnel ride!" Looking forward to your next Japan chapter!

That tunnel was, besides the snowy landscapes, the main thing I was excited about. Thanks!

Excellent Jeremy. Well worth the wait. The snow ❄️ makes it look colder. Be careful walking on the snow ❄️. Falling hits you very fast Been there done that. Looking forward to more from Hokkaido. Thanks again. 🇯🇵 😊😊

Love these trains! I’d like to learn more about the food if you can tell us what you’re eating. Nothing can beat the enviro friendliness and cost of a bullet train. Wish the US would pull its collective head out of its a$$!

So the new rail line will be over 76% tunnels? I guess it's one of those trips you sleep most of the time because there's nothing much to see.
