'71 Mustang Mach 1 - Cleveland Powered Pony

Quick video of my 1971 Mach 1 Mustang i have been building. The intention of this car is to be a driver, this is why you will notice a car seat in it. I wanted to be able to use the car and it be reliable and fun to drive.
When editing the video i did notice i missed a few things. The heads are 4V open chamber heads with comp roller rockers and dual valve springs. the intake manifold is a Edelbrock Performer dual plane 4v intake. The exhaust can be seen in my previous video, which is a 2.5' x pipe with Pypes turbo mufflers.
The rear end is a ford 9" with 3.50 gears.

Very nice paint. You are overcooling it if it is running at 160. Actually best for the engine to be between 180-200. Reason is it keeps the moisture out of the oil. Cooler isn't better.

Got a racing bucket seat for the kid! Tight lol. Nice ride, love the mostly black and I love the Shiney black hood. The louvers look fuckin awesome on those Mustangs.

Love the car man! louvers or not rear visibility is almost zero on these cars. I need to get a backup camera as well for mine. That rear window conversion is a sweet touch. Nice videos!

What rad fan combo did you use? My 70 Mach 1 351C definitely can't idle in hot summer traffic. I've tried just about every option.

Dual mishimoto 12 inch fans. Look for the cfm. Get the highest. I’m tellin you it made a world of difference
