When you install the panels behind and below your wood stove, you need to have an air space between the wood wall/floor and your panels. This is for safety so that the panels don't get too hot and burn the walls and floor. About a 2.5 cm space is required.

The modern ideas around cement are wrong, its a major CO2 emitter yes but it also has the largest potential for change. A cement plant has a limited lifespan here in my country the plants are slowly dissapearing as new ones can't be built yet we have large resources that can be used for cement with much much lower CO2 footprint as much as 50% with Potential for much more again. Technology like added natural pozzolans like pumice and pumicite (volcanic ash for 40% reduction), burning municipal waste for fuel and as(10% saving easy but can be allot more) and lots of minor ones around fuel as kilns can be run on anything organic like plastic waste, used motor oil, cardboard, etc etc because we can't build modern plants in my country as new coal industry is banned then our cement is now imported from asia where they don't care about CO2 so its all made wastefully using only coal and rivers of plastic waste flow right past the factories.

There should always be a layer of air in between the two. - never ever work power tools with long hair! use a cap or hair tie (for ALL of the hair) You don't want to experience this kind of accident, believe me!!! - Sharpen your tools! if you see smoke the tool is dull. Sharp tools save effort... - imho you should install some toe boards and shorten the thread rods CU next year ! 👋😊

No one: ... Me: avoid reclaimed wood pallets as fuel for the stove, as sometimes they're treated with chemicals that might make it burn faster and hotter than it otherwise should. This is admittedly hearsay, but a friend of a friend is said to have had her house burn down because of this. Maybe another urban legend? Would you guys care to investigate? Also, you legends, the guesthouse looks amazing.

Man this hurt my Construction heart...! 1: the wood you put against the concrete befor you put the floor needs to have a rubber or silicon mambraine/strip underneath otherwise the floor will rot from underneath and black mold will form underneath the floor. 2: why did you not finish the concrete leadge that is towards the deck and plaster the wall under the wood deck with concrete that is now unaccessible? 3: why did you cut the 2 outer standing wood columns for the deck when they could have acted as railing posts too..? You just needed to add a 40cm beam on the other side of each post for the decking to connect to. And what is the plan for the fasad of the house? Why did you not plaster the brickwall to make it more air tight befor you made the deck that now needs to be covered befor work can be done on that? And you should really put a bitt of concrete in those open brick-ends on the corners! Those are not good to keep open for many reasons, insulation, mold, insects and others!

Noooooooooo stop. You need a concrete vapour barrier. The concrete barrier is there for a reason for the floor, not getting ruined and any vapour ingressing. That floor will not last for long. And the floor will feel cold every time you walk on it Please don't give me started on how. You guys didn't treat that wood before you used that's sleeve. do you know that would have acid. That wood stove installation does not meet any fire safety code especially in EU! It is a serious fire hazard. Hot metal in contact with wood and so close to wood ceiling. Usually there has to be at least 50 cm air gap + fireproof materials between wood and hot metal. Please contact local firestation for consultation.

I wish somebody with contracting building experience was there to advise these people, installing Knotty wood on a raised floor is a fail, when those knots fall out there will be holes, also installing wood directly to concrete without a barrier or even fire burning it on the contact side will cause rot, and termites love it especially close to the ground and there are plenty of termites there all things easy done during the construction

Absolutely amazing work!! For plastic Recycling... 3D Printing isn't only a hype. It really unleashed something completely new and can be made out of recycled Plastic. You can find much content on that on the Internet or search for "recycling Fabrik - Braunschweig" it's a local Startup where I get my Filament from, 100% recycled. This technology develops so fast and good that it can be so usefully. Maybe consider to have some FDM 3D Printers at Project camp so you don't need to ship that electriccovers. I worked a lot with 3D Printing and have my own start-up in that section. I would actually love to come to Project Camp and integrate some 3D Printers for your uses... Maybe think about that, but also have a great great Winter. I'm so so excited and sad that we all need to wait so long for new updates😭😭
