I know most are "Saddened" by this torture test, but this did the opposite for me, it gave me hope for Lifan as a company. As he stated at the end, there are people who are genuinely considering this bike, but are genuinely curious how durable it is. Now the reviews saying they've got 10 or 30K miles on it seem more believable. Sure, it's still not a Honda, but for Half the Price, not bad little Lifan, not bad at all....

@@noidontthinksolol you have a reasonable point, but we can also look at this at a different perspective. Actually there are other engines that are widely copied - i'm not a harley guy, but you know what i'm talking about - S&S and other big twin clones. Hell, they still copy updated versions of flatheads and knuckleheads! Chinese copies of Honda CG engines are quite simular - they made them bigger, added bells and whistles like counterbalancer (although, personally, i prefer non-balanced version), and this engine is still perfectly fits the market, where you need cheap, simple, torquey little thumper. It's all supply and demand thing after all.

Nonsense, I use to run Yamaha YZ 125 trail riding and racing, and I know how they work and what they do. Those days are over for me now, was thinking on something cheaper but strong tho. This guy just sold me these Lifan bikes via his testing. Cause I would never had thought of getting one of these bikes outside of my normal bike to putt around on if it wasn't for the testing. One of these bikes may be worth the buy now I see what they can do. Now I know I can take care of it, and it still can run..

You should do the same to a Japanese bike, to compare the two. Right now it's just stupid destruction (which I love)

In Italy too, but the ones around these days are crap. Up until middle of the '90 decade, we had no power limitation on them and at 16 you could drive a 2 stroke 35HP, 190km/h nearly racing-ready bike like the Cagiva Mito or the Aprilia Extrema (this www.dueruote.it/content/dam/dueruote/it/foto/moto-scooter/2019/03/19/cagiva-mito-125/gallery/rbig/cagiva-mito31.jpg and this 125stradali.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/extrema_sideon.jpg ). I had an NSR in 1992, a bit less powerful (still 30HP) but more confortable: www.motociclismo.it/files/galleries/6/1/8/6189/B_NSR%20125%20R%201993.jpg Those 4 stroke bikes around now with 15HP limited power seems like lawn mowers :(

I've seen those cheap Chinese bikes used for logging in the jungles of Borneo and Indonesia. They go in carrying 2 guys and a chainsaw. While one cuts trees, the other uses the bike to drags the tree out on goat paths, across creeks, etc.

-Hugo Chavez 'bought' his re-election, back when he had treasury gold of Venezuela to spend. He gave 'free' tens of thousands of Chinese bikes to 'his' Voters. Motorizados were everywhere across the country [you-tube]. All fine, so happy, until they discovered that Hugo never bought them Free parts.. Venezuela was bankrupt by then.. Socialism is great,... while it lasts. :)

@@Blogengezer Monsanto in India promised poor rural farmers, if they borrowed money to buy Monsanto GMO seeds, their crops would be so big, they could afford a Chinese bike. They didn't tell them they would have to borrow more to buy the Monsanto fertilizer and Monsanto insecticides and the crop would still be iffy depending on rain and heat.

I just found your channel a couple weeks ago. First video I watched was the one where someone on ebay "bought" your yamaha 80 for 130,000$. I've been mildly binge watching your videos since then. You and all the guys at the shop seem like real good people. Especially enjoy seeing how charitable you are towards people. Not many guys out there who are like that. And you're pretty funny too! I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Keep it up. Hope to make the drive up from Maryland to visit your business one day. Thanks for the hours of entertainment!!
