El Deafo by Cece Bell is another middle grade graphic novel memoir about growing up hearing impaired. Rollergirl by Victoria Jamieson (co-author of When Stars are Scattered) is about friendship and surviving middle school with roller derby as the driving force. Also by Jamieson is All’s Faire in Middle School which has Renaissance fairs as its background. All of these are popular amongst the middle graders who love reading graphic novels. Craft’s gnovels are amazing.

I read The New Kid a couple of years ago, from the library, the other series books I can never get, the series is very popular at my library. I put two books to try on my tbr that you read, Invisible and A First Time for Everything. Congratulations on achieving reading 31 books.

growing up my dad used to make the whole family watch the 10 Commandments movie from the 50s every Easter, when I was about 10 we managed to convince him to change the tradition to Godspell which was much more fun for me and my siblings

I loved the concert in the background 🎶What do you think of the John Legend/Sara Bareilles version of Jesus Christ Superstar? That's the only one I've seen - I really liked it but have nothing for comparison.
