I used to get coffee every morning for my wife, she’s been gone 3 years now, I miss doing it, I miss her. Seeing you do it for Kara is bitter sweet. I’d give anything to be able to do it again. There sure are a lot of very nice people out there, thank you for your kind words.

This made me tear up. My parents had their morning rituals, including getting two different newspapers, and swapping them over their second or third coffees. When she died, my Dad told me how much he missed that little habit.

North Dakotan here! As a resident of Minot it was hilarious listening to you guys try to pronounce Minot. Its been an ugly winter of snows and melts but come summer, our state is actually quite beautiful. If you ever need another place to journey I recommend the Turtle Mountains up by Canada and the what we call the badlands near Teddy Roosevelt National Park. I’m only about halfway in, but two thoughts: 1. Ted Lasso is awesome. I’ve watched all the way through at least 4 times and I discover new insights each time. Love. 2. Kudos for Nate’s correct pronunciation of ‘bruschetta.’ Bravo. ETA a number 3. I’ve missed a train in Chicago before even though I was at Chicago Union Station ahead of my train’s departure. To anyone reading this - don’t mess around and get there plenty early. Since many trains originate in Chicago, they handle things a little differently there. They will call your train in the grand hall and then will escort you as a group to the train. Learn from my mistake, which resulted in a long uncomfortable Greyhound bus ride. Don’t miss the train!

I vote that you guys go back to Chicago sometime! It’s definitely in my opinion, a very underrated city. I had more fun in Chicago than I’ve had anywhere else. They have tons to do, especially the tours, which are amazing. I did eat at Pequods and I gave it 10\10. The sunset tour from Navy pier on a sailboat gives you an awesome view of the skyline. Both sides of the media like to give you lots of negatives about Chicago, and honestly I don’t live there so I can’t tell you, but I can say that I never had any bad experiences while visiting.

I can never get enough of Kara the toe model. hopefully the pedi matches the multi-colored manicure nails. the excitement of your channel compared to other travel vloggers is refreshing. I travel a lot myself. not like you two. but it is hard to not get ho-hum @ some point with the yeah yeah yeah, just another lounge, just another train, just another museum excitement. constantly reminding yourself just how lucky you are, living a full life more robust than ever friend (from back home) that you know as a COLLECTIVE! we do more in a single year than my 6 best friends have done probably in 10-20 combined between ALL of them!

You need to do an entire Chicago trip/episode. I'm from California and flew there for a wedding. I was blown away. Actually want to go back and explore more. It's a cool city for sure.

I'm from Europe and it is very fun to see how train travel is not developed in the US. Love those old school vibes in Amtrak's train😂! Love you guys!❤

Hello from Norway! This 'giggeling' video of you reminded me of one of your 'giggeling' videos just before you posted some new years video about being tired and had considered taking a youtube break. Please don't get too tired by your work. Take care 🖖

Ah, so glad to see you guys do this - I looked at a sleeper train experience from Miami to New York last year, and whimped out. It looks like such an amazing experience - thanks so much for taking us with you!!

I agree with Nate about being stuck somewhere…especially on a train or plane…I am able to disconnect and relax best on a long haul flight. Have only done a sleeper train once…to Scotland, and it was a joy.

YES. Thank you. So few people understand that I like to travel by train because I enjoy being "stuck" somewhere. There's something so amazingly peaceful about that. Glad you understand:)

I think the funniest part of day one was that Nate said,” we ridding economy we’ll be ridding business in Canada” after Kara said “this is like a airplane meal”. 😂 Love y’all’s videos! Thanks for creating them hope yall had an amazing time on this trip can’t wait for the next videos to come out!

As a Chicagoan, I'd say you made the right decision going with Lou Malnati's. Their original restaurant is located in my neighbourhood, in the 'burbs. The sculpture affectionately known as "The Bean" is Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate, so named for its ability to reflect the city skyline. The work was installed back in 2006, and because of its popularity has required surface maintenance, which should be completed later this summer. I hope you have the chance to visit the Windy City again. I always tell visitors that it's like a cleaner, friendlier version of New York.

This video is the most reflective of the Amtrak experience out of the (many) other KZbin reviews out there. The endless repeated announcements. The sounds of walking between carriages. 👍 The man who comes to your door loudly announcing what he’s about to do.
