NIce! y'all are killing it on the 727 build info. I have never seen a filter stand off like that. It looks like a pain in the butt!

Might measure and order a block before it goes in, it's to much Fidel fing

This is invaluable information, just managed to pull the Pushbutton A727 out of the car and the end play of the input shaft is enough to move maybe 40 thou, acquired Tom Hand's A727 rebuild book and i'm ready to rebuild the transmission!

Awesome video fellas. To bad Jaybo wasn’t there to tell Jeremy stop laughing stop it ! That filter extension did look a little strange.

Wait I learned something......how dare you teach me stuff....only Jaybo is the certified teacher at Bad Tree Productions.................On a different note even though Blake thinks I'm wasting my time to build a car just to lose at NNN, Jeremy seems slightly concerned that his might not be running at that time............heck I might just build a nice daily driver slant six and come up there and win a race.

😆 right, I wouldn't plan on that Von Dudman.

Blake, I think you've really done a nice job with that tranny. 👍👍👍

Forgive me, But aren't you supposed to check the end play with the bell housing up, and the output shaft resting on a wooden block to thrust the output shaft all the way forward? That way, you take all of the slop out of the fit for the output shaft bearing and the snap ring groove????
@BadTreeProductions2 жыл бұрын
You get the same result if you have a hippie pushing on the output shaft, So yeah you could do it your way or you could push on it and result equals the same.
