Thanks for the comment. We will be doing the scary job of installing the headliner soon. It is the one job that I am really worried about. First though we will take the engine out again and clear up a few issues , then reinstall and hopefully go for a short drive around the block. It will be the first time it has moved under its own power in nearly 25 years.

Nice work on the beetle. Sounds good. My brother had a 69 or 70 (not Super) beetle many years ago.

Thanks it has been a long time. The engine has been a piece of furniture in the garage for too long. It was great to finally hear it run. 50 PSI at hot idle wasn't bad either. 😀
