Mercedes in my opinion build the best cars in the world period with AMG being the icing on there cake But would AMG recommend using AMS performance and what would be the highest HP output recommended before the car starts having regular faults with the uptunes?

ijustinw Take note "Mercedes AMG" should produce there same line of cars now with 1100 BHP standard that would be better all round. Once certain parts of the mechanics are tampered with this could void any warranty so it depends exactly on what they are working with. Also remember wreckless driving kills so don't do that!

Amstuned ohhhh, but of course it does. So AMS is charging $2695 for a radiator, a small water pump, and coolant tank and ONLY $7300 for downpipes, catback exhaust, and a tune. Yup...that all sounds soooooo much better now that you explained it. These prices are about as insane as any of the price-tags on parts from ARC Japan. I hope the tune is at least a dyno tune and not just a mailed out re-flash, otherwise It's pretty clear you guys are just ripping people.

my 4200lbs rwd car ran 10.7 with same 700hp.. stock suspension drag radials which is what i daily drive on.. trap about same as his 129mph.. if he launched it hard def go a lot faster but think he was afraid to break it lol

The best launches are: suspension in Race start and engine/trans in sport+. No lag. Race start everything causes lag off the line. And brake boost for just a few sec, not more than 3 sec or so. The turbo upgrade now that’s 14-16k and will def put it into the high 9’s @140 mph+. I’ve seen a CLS63S with 900 hp with the turbos upgraded run 9.65 @145 mph. Stock trans, stock internals but wheel spin in the front tires. That’s because the 4matic awd splits per 63% rear 37% front so you’d need some sticky tires up front too. Worth noting though that the rwd cars with the m157 TT V8 from 2011-2013 are quicker once above 75-80 mph, wether stock or modded.

+adilakram67 yes. Having driven both, the S model is far superior. You wouldn't think going from 514 to 577hp would be that drastic, but they apparently changed the shift behavior as well. Off the lot, the difference is noticeable, and that's why the non S isn't available anymore. It just isn't any fun. Best explanation I can give is the non S while fast, feels sluggish or sloppy by comparison. I would expect that after the Alpha 7 package is applied, you'd never know the difference between the S and non S. They fix all the ails!

Brake torque that car and it's a dog the computer shuts the power down you killed the time by doing that , you have to use race start and you would have gotten closer to a 10:50 , or just hit the gas

I still see the best times usually seem to be with brake boost, but maybe hitting gas off idle would give an even better time? Seems like people dont even try it for some reason.

BLKRKTE63 Yeah I found out brake boost until 2k then floor it works the best , I know if you brake boost with full throttle the car just falls flat , im gonna try 2500 rpm and see how it launches but 2k works pretty good

10K is wayyyy too fucking much. Renntech is the king when it comes to Mercedes, an ECU flash of Renntech would make that kind of power and it would be 3K, and Weistec does some awesome job too for around same price of Renntech. Alpha tuning should stay with GTR.

E63 s-amg wagon does quarter mile in 11.3 according to motor trend. I'd save my 10k or just get a tune from another company for 3k. But if you own this car I guess 3k or 10k really doesn't make a difference.

Dude that is all they did. An Ecu tune and an exhaust upgrade which doesn't add much more power. The engine comes stock with two turbos which are capable of much higher boost pressures just by tuning the ecu.

The DA if I recall on this day at the track was 4200+ ft. Yes, 3/4 of a mi high. That will add over 1/2 a sec to times and lower trap speeds by 5-6 mph mininum. .

Total for this car is easily 115 if not easily more. After all that is makes 23 more horses then the hellcat charger that cost 65K. Also I'm sure the hellcat ZF 8 speed transmission is better then the one in the E63. Truly is amazing what Chrysler has done with the charger/challenger hellcat. Oh yeah not to mention you have a factory warranty with the hellcat which you won't have with this E63 once you take it to AMS

Amstuned I agree with you to a certain extent as I have had many high end vehicles myself. My SRT has everything you listed except for AWD and massaging seats. Yes I know it's a Mercedes lol. My last Mercedes was a 2007 S550. Yes it's a better built car more luxurious etc hence the basically double price tag. By the way just cause it has AWD doesn't mean people drive it in the snow or bad weather. I live in a rich neighborhood and see plenty of turbo Porsche in the summer but none in the winter. Just cause its AWD doesn't mean people are gonna drive it in crappie weather. A hellcat is not just raw performances. It has many features actually more features then many car that cost more lol. I bet my 900watt harmon Kardon that comes in my SRT is just as good if not better then the one in that E63. Yes my suspension also firms up with the push of a button. Plus the ZF8 speed in the hellcat literally shits on that horrible transmission in the E63. So please don't make it like that AMG is god

Andy Esho You can use that argument about almost everything in life. A hamburger and an expensive steak are both meat and both comes from cows. But one of them tastes better. How much that better taste is worth depends on your taste and your pocket. A $500 suit looks good on you and has a good fit. A $2000 suit fits you perfect and makes you look good. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the Hellcat and nothing is missing in it. It's one of my new favorites. But it's nothing new with people who can afford better things in life and pay for it. All of us think like you about something not being worth the money and that there are better and cheaper options. Most of the time when you have the money you don't think so. You just buy it. Most of the time.

bezor Ta I totally agree with what you were saying. Only reason I responded the way I did is cause AMS tuned responded saying some stupid stuff that didn't make any sense. For instance he was saying with a push of a button you can firm up the suspension of the E63. Had he done his research he would have known that SRT since 2012 have had bilstein shocks that also firm up with the push of a button. The SRT also has lane assist and also heated and cooled seats. As a matter a fact I have heated and cool cup holders which I don't think his "Mercedes" does. He just made is sound like the hellcat has no options compared to the Mercedes and that rubbed me the wrong way. I love all cars and am a huge car enthusiast but I hate it when people don't give credit where it's due. I have also had many foreign cars myself as well. Last one being a base 2012 panamera and honestly if you don't get the Porsche turbo or at least the GTS all there cars are such pieces of shit. I mean who the hell wants to spend 80K and have a weak ass 300 horses. Even the panamera S has just over 420 and isn't really fast at all. I regret buying my panamera and sold it after 1 year.

Their entire quality control changed due to mercedes! Also their first SRT generation cars are all basically mercedes designs, same fuel injection systems even down to identical components sometimes. Go look at Chrysler Crossfire SRT6 aka an SLK32 AMG with diff branding. And just because Hellcat has 707hp does not mean it will outperform this car esp an AWD dual clutch transmission compared to your "ZF8 speed". E63 is not a bargain car, its a luxury sedan with supercar performance any what you look at it. The hellcat is a bargain in terms of horsepower numbers but thats it, it offers nothing else more. Design? hell no Ill take a new corvette over that for price, looks, and performance. I know the vette will still outperform Hellcat on turns and initial acceleration. And don't worry about warranty 1. people who own them new are not worried about it, 2. just because hellcat has a "warranty" doesnt prevent u from blowing an engine or damaging internals and them saying you "voided your warranty misusing it".

+Imothep Freut mich, wenn ich Dich erheitere. Das Leben ist hart genug. Autos sind einfach Geschmacksache. Der von den wirklich letzten schönen Daimler war für mich der 500SEC. Ich weiss, uralt. Aber eben noch schön designed. Der SLR McLaren ist auch nicht hässlich, wenigstens nicht von vorne und von der Seite. Ich mag auch nicht unbedingt Porsches, obwohl ein GT2 als Zweitwagen vieleicht nicht ganz übel wäre. Haben alle nur irgendwie den erfolgreichen-Ruheständler-Anstrich oder mitunter auch den entsprechenden wie-soll-ich-nur-weiterhin-den-Kredit-bedienen ;) Ich bin nicht neidig. Mir reicht mein E92 mit 700Nm und 370PS, oder vieleicht sinds auch nur 340. Ich habs nie gemessen. Ist auch egal, denn ein leiser Tritt aufs Pedal und er fängt unabhängig vom Gang an zu radieren. Ich dreh mich jedesmal nach ihm um wenn ich geparkt habe, und das gibt mir die Gewissheit, ich hab das richtige Auto :) Schönen Feiertag noch!

AMS, the rip-off experts. 4-5k for a simple air intake upgrade, lol. But if carbon fibre. Folks, carbon fibre wont make more power, lol, takes 15 min to install. The exhaust is an exhaust, same material, mufflers etc as any 4 door sedan over 3800 lbs, so why 2.5 to 4.5k for exhaust, especially with no actual long tube headers, vs 800-1400??? They response: its a bmw, mbz, gtr, etc. They charge MORE for the brand of vehicle. They feel its ok and expected. Thankfully there are other companies buildibg similar products for half the price as AMS. Because your not going to get more power per dollar with any modd. And 10.9 sec witn 730hp/830 lb-ft is pretty darn weak considering these did 11.7 sec at 122-123 mph stock. And if its awd as stated in the video but with awd, its an S model which starts at supposedly 577 hp/590 tq, not 550/531.;

e63 is a luxury car. pay the extra for luxury. eclass vs regular charger is like 25 or 30k difference anyways and it carries forward with hellcat vs e63. also e63 is faster 0-60 quarter mile and figure 8 and can be driven in winter
