New Audi RS6 Perf v BMW M5 v AMG E63 S: DRAG RACE

We’ve got our hands on the all-new Audi RS6 Performance, and it’s about to go head-to-head against its key competitors, the BMW M5 Competition and Mercedes-AMG E63 S!
Think this line-up seems familiar? Well, that’s because it is - we’ve done this race before! The question is, will the all-new RS6 have what it takes to bring down the competition?
Well, let’s first find out by checking out the stats. Starting with the RS6, it’s powered by the same 4-litre twin-turbo V8 as before, but the power has been dialled up, and it now produces an amazing 630hp and 850Nm of torque! This power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, however, the car is the heaviest in this line-up, tipping the scales at 2,090kg! It’s also the most expensive car here, with a price tag of around £113,000.
Alongside it, we have the BMW. It’s packing a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 under the bonnet, which is good for 625hp and 750Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels through an 8-speed torque converter gearbox, and it weighs in at 1,865kg. It’s also slightly cheaper than the RS6, at around £111,000.
Then finally we have the AMG. It’s actually the least powerful car here, with its 4-litre twin-turbo V8 putting down 612hp and 850Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed multi-clutch gearbox, and it tips the scales at 1,950kg. It’s the cheapest car in this line-up, too, costing around £106,000.
So will the most powerful car win it? Or will the BMW’s incredible launch system propel it to victory? There’s only one way to find out… LET’S RACE!

Awesome video, also just a tip to avoid early jumps is to use a LED flashlight. Once the person holding the flashlight turns it on you go. It’s what people do here in America when racing for pinks or money, to make it as fair as possible.

Sorry audi is king at launches out of the 3 next to porsche. However on the roll the BMW an benz are all underrated power figures, audi is pretty much on par with stated numbers which once again proves audis superiority at puttin power down. On even playing field audi is superior quattro awd. Far more capable company. By the way audi r8 v10 plus takes care of any bmw. And with an honest 610hp a supercar indeed. 0-60 in 2.6 secs an quarter mile 10.6s proven many times. Now overall faster car audi an bmw doesnt come close to mercedes. ​@@Semo11044did u watch till the end of video? Matt did say BMW usually lies about their quoted power figures after checking an M5 Competition on dyno. It makes 650 hp instead of 625 hp. Torque is more than 750 too. Audi & AMG are more honest. So it's not surprising the most powerful car won here.

There won't be an M5 wagon, BMW has confirmed that they will not be making another M wagon in the foreseeable future. And the E-Class Wagon is also canceled after this generation.

I find it so funny that literally every journalist doesn't know that going into drive and moving 1 foot then back to nuetral or park disables soft limiter...Also on F10 and newer you can use cruise up and down to adjust launch RPM
