😂❤ lovely. You gave me a great shortcut. I managed to find that switch for the top hatch on an XLT. It's at the rear lower rear lower left corner of that window on the sill like where an up down button might be and it works great so I can get out through the back door and in through the back door. Even though my handle is on, the inside remains locked. Apparently these things are were not put together very well on that handle. So thanks for the shortcut! And excuse the typos. My phone did it.

Love the cracked trim just below the rear glass.....just like every other Explorer from 2002 - 2005. I called Ford about it 15+ years ago and they basically said tough luck. I'll remember that the next time I buy a new car.

I started on the hatch window of my 2004 explorer today. Yelp, it would not open... The short cable is bad, so I guess I'm about to try your fix... You have several good videos on the projects I need to be working... Thanks for all the help...

My problem is with the glass mechanism the glass mechanism is in the locked position and I can’t close the glass any recommendations?

Had similar problem. Someone must have hit it & raised the bumper half an inch. Reset in body shop for $150.

My rear Hatch will open, but the glass won't the shop said they'll have to break it just to fix it and in like break the glass to fix the liftgate sounds crazy 😂 I think they're just trying to squeeze as much money out of me as they can

Thank you so much! By using your video here my son was able to get it fixed !! It was a little yellow piece in it that had broken. I was able to get the piece locally! What a wonderful service your providing with these videos!
