Government through ministry of education and sports has reiterated its commitment to support Makerere University in its quest to becoming a premier research institute.
While officiating at the 74th graduation ceremony at Makerere freedom square on behalf of the minister for education and sports Janet Museveni, state minister for higher education John Chrysostom Muyingo appreciated the University for collaborating with government ministries, departments and agencies to come up with solutions to challenges faced by various sectors.
