Really happy for you all getting the house! You are going to be so happy when it’s finished just knowing you created the new look. I know how good I felt after renovating my home which is over 150 years old! And like I said yesterday my children want to own my home someday to keep it in the family because they love the way it turned out and because it was my family home originally from my parents. Just have patience and keep looking forward to the end results! It’s worth it in the long run and a lot of fun along the way.

So happy for you! I've had chickens for years - trust me when I tell you - you want a chicken tractor. It the only way to free range and protect them. You move it around so they can eat from a different part of the yard=no big dirt patches, no poop to clean up except the nesting boxes, no predators. Utoob has vids that show how to build one.

Congrats on the house, it is such an exciting time. My hubby & I have fixed up our last 2 homes with "sweat equity" and we discovered that it always seemed to take twice as long & three times more money than we guessed so something to keep in mind. Those two houses were fixed up with resale in mind & we are finally in a home were are fixing up for us & it is so wonderful. You are taking on allot more than we did with going to the studs and I am really excited to follow your journey. If you want to hurry & get moved in ASAP, get the bedrooms ready to go & the bath so you can live in it during the other work if it takes longer than you like with a mortgage & rent. Again so excited to follow along!

We finally settle on our retirement home near the beach on Tuesday. Like yours it's a bit of a fixer upper but I'm looking forward to the challenge ahead. My son and I move over to the other side of the country, from Queensland to Western Australia, in October and start the process of fixing things up. Congrats on the house! It will be a labor of love and I’m happy for you guys! We just moved into our 1907 fixer upper and excited ourselves to fix it up. Ours is mostly having to throw sheet rock instead of the crumbling plaster going on and replace the old knot and tube wiring it has. Those are the majors everything else is cosmetic, ( we hope lol) my husband and I are doing all the renovations ourselves also.

Look at mini split A/C- Heat systems. Don't need duct work, can regulate zone to zone. Saves money. I'm living in a flip and Going to the rafters (bare vaulted ceilings Everywhere) with mine. That's the A/C - Heat route I chose

To clean stencils, I use an old potato scrubber and dawn. If I’ve allowed acrylic or metallic paint to dry on my stencil, citrustrip for 15 minutes and rinse well, works wonders.

Each one needed from minor renovations to total gutting. We work fairly well together, I’d be lying if I said we work perfectly. Anyway, I think what your doing is great. I just watched your video and the glass jar that Zeb shows in the begin of the video I have that jar and I was wanting to let y'all know I bought mine at Christmas Village about 8 years ago. It's a craft show that they do in Birmingham, Alabama every year. But anyhoo the gentleman I bought mine from had lamp oil in it with faux fruit and a wick so you can light it up. Mine has a flat lid instead of the fancy lid.Just though I would share. Love you guys keep up the GREAT work!
