For future engine swaps, do all the ground work then take the front wheels off and set the disks on 2x4's or lower control arms on 6x6's, a lot easier on the belly and pulling the motor closer to the ground makes it easier peasier

Your shop light was worth the subscribe. I have the same one. I can't believe someone was able to blow up a 2015. I was shocked I bought a 04 avalanche that had 2 broke rods but it had 230,000 miles. Same problem previous owner never changed the oil.

Nice rig bud what a steal. My oldman is just like you he will buy something that is broke and fix it and get a heck of a steal on it. Many many times we have a coca cola factory just a few. I have been working at a Chevy dealership as a technician for twenty years and I feel from a set of rafters helping a buddy build a shop when I was in my early twenties and I never went to a dr for it and I was down for a Couple of months but I got back to work but now I’m in my middle 40s and that injury has made it impossible for me to stand for any amount of time. I had to quit working and I have all of my equipment stuffed into a small garage-shed. But what I enjoy is watching you guys work together and make jokes and have fun while your working and that reminds me of when I was able to do that. Keep up the good work and awesome videos!!!

I'm by no means a mechanic, but I did see somewhere that before removing the hood (or doors, too, I guess), for perfect alignment when reinstalling them, you can drill a hole through the bracket & hood/door hinge such that you can later place a punch in the hole to have it line up perfectly - no rejiggering necessary.
