WELCOME HOME RHETT!!!! Man, I'm not even related to you all and I had tears in my eyes seeing ya again. Congratulations Private R.Skinner 2nd Class. Home for some real food, and of course lots of love. Heath, really..... you can't complete the turn in 35 points, you need 36? Geeeeez!!!!! 😃 Hopefully you will be able to finish the third tier rock wall behind the house before the snow. You moved a lot of the hill around so I really wonder how stable the hill will be in the Spring meltdown and don't want to see the hillside slide into the house. Again, Welcome Home Rhett!!! I've said it before but I'll say it again, I look forward to your Sunday videos. They feel like getting a letter from home. Can't wait to see how the new cabin comes together!

Heath, As a former Army officer I have one bit of advice for Rhett that I wish someone had told me when I entered active duty...find a mentor who is willing to show you the ropes and help guide your military career. Many NCOs love to take an eager young private who wants to excel in their profession under their wing. Just make sure that NCO is knowledgeable and well respected by their peers and officers.

May the moments of joy and laughter continue to grow and multiply for the rest of your lives. Now, all that home needs is grandkids. Lots of them. You both are going to be the greatest grandparents anyone would ask for. Welcome Home, Rhett 🎉🎊 You are such a good son and a brother. I wish you all the best. Take care.

I’ve text you before about getting a Red Poppy Ranch shirt. I’m just older and I do something wrong every time. I was so thankful that Rhett got home. I have prayed for his safety. I continue to pray for him wherever his path goes. Thank you Rhett🙏🏻 God Bless him and all of your family. God Bless your efforts to keep being encouraged to produce, “Red Poppy Ranch.”

Welcome Home Rhett. The hard part is over, now you get to play the 1 weekend a month 2 weeks a year game HAHA!! I should have stayed in , I could have retired last year or this year, depending on how much active duty time I could have accrued....had quite a few years of it when my dumb a** got out LOL. I'm not sure which unit you will be with, but whenever they have days they need guys for whatever is going on, always volunteer if you can as it adds retirement points and it also gives you active duty time, anytime you get a chance to be put on orders for anything. If you stay in for 20 years, it just pushes you towards more retirement points, and active duty time to add up quicker.

My dad couldn’t make it to my passing out Parade unfortunately but my mum ,aunt (she was ex RAF) and uncle (he was also ex RAF) did . When my Cousin passed out for the Parachute Regiment 6 months later however my dad was there as my uncle had long since passed away. I was there in full dress for both my cousin and my dad. His face said it all. Best of luck to both Rhett and Heath he went a boy and will come back a man. From a former Sapper of the Royal Engineers 🫡 Ps I spent 6 months in the US in my last year in the Forces 4 months at Fort Lewis and 2 months on Yakima. Awesome times and definitely an awesome place.

you can't go wrong with gravel - it will really help, you should make drainage a priority - ie crown road put ditches on each side - get some sand too if it is a lot cheaper #14 yd loads

@pcmiller27103 ай бұрын
You might consider the butt and pass method when constructing an 8 sided cabin. The long timber screws will be a bit spendy, but you can always buy a long auger bit and a hog drill to fasten the log courses buy drilling the logs and securing with #4 rebar, as it would be a lot cheaper...plus, by using rebar, you can disassemble and make changes or adjustments much easier.

Fun fact. Your course dust is nothing like moon dust. Moon dust is very jagged due to the absence of an atmosphere. As a result it sticks to everything which makes it a significant engineer challenge in lunar exploration.

The one-station unit training for infantry Soldiers is about 6 months. That is Basic and Infantry training combined. The straps on the duffel bag hurt because you were carrying it upside down. How long is he home for? He should have 10 to 15 days leave available. Moon dust is a fairly good description of it.

Around 8years ago, I helped Bob Stone sell Christmas Trees down in Yorba Linda, on a lot that he ran for Trees R Us. Company was based out of Salem, Or. Lot of times I would sell 3 trees to a customer One for family room, one for kids room, & one for the Master bedroom . Stronger economy in LA. Helped my Grandfather plant & harvest the trees. Grandfather would sell to buyers as far away as Ariz. Could get a thousand to 15 hundred in a chip truck, that the buyers usually hauled with. Ariz & S.Calif buyers usually shipped with enclosed trucks so trees wouldn't shed needles. Grandfather & his brother had around 250,000 trees before they passed, which was a smaller operation. Christmas trees was a pretty fair money maker for their century farm.
