The fact that Will took the time to build a full op amp circuit for a temperature detecting proximity sensor that triggers a flamethrower instead of just using an ultrasonic sensor or LIDAR completely stunlocked me. Never change, Big Willy
@Waggles11236 ай бұрын
Ultrasonic or LIDAR would trigger on any moving object. Temperature detecting sensors will trigger on warm bodies. Also, it gives it a free dead band. If the flamethrower comes on and is sensed by the heat detector, that will just keep the heat detector on for a period of time (to thoroughly burn your victim) until the running average is saturated at the burning temperature, then it'll stay off for a fixed period until your running average has had time to return to ambient.
@themetal22446 ай бұрын
@@Waggles1123 You're not wrong, but there's still trade-offs to using the temperature method. It definitely has higher design complexity, and would be difficult to tune the detection correctly to prevent false positives, which is why we see it triggering in the video on nothing. IMO, motion detection is a better approximation for detecting people, as it would be far more trivial to code and design around. Also, blasting flames at anything that moves is just funny

The way you crafted these into what can only be described as "atrocity against humanity" is plainly delightful in an oddly satisfying way. Your ingenuity is highly appreciated.

You missed the perfect opportunity of hiding that doll's igniter inside something that looks like a cigarette. This way it would look much more gangsta

Same 😂. I'm just watching thinking did he enable RTP... lol nope. Or airmode apparently. I'm so used to the sound of props hitting trees and rock that the clang of the chandelier just sounds so wrong. I really wanna find some building to fly my 5" in now though... like one of those houses that are condemned and they just let teenagers come in and trash everything before knocking it down. Wonder if it can get through a piece of drywall...
