I know! Such a bummer for the actual comedy shows! If it had been in the drama category, they would've lost everything to Succession, so my guess is that's why they switched. Their show has a short running time as a comedy, it has some comedic characters, but it is definitely not a comedy. @@comichope325

I even remember saying to my husband…”I don’t remember laughing, especially during the Christmas episodes…I was far from laughing then”. It’s strange which categories they slot movies into each year at these award shows. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jennifer Coolidge deserved so much better than the disrespect she faced after accepting her first and second award. She has worked her ass off her entire career to get where she is today. She has been working for over 25 years in the entertainment industry for the hosts mother to show up and take it upon herself to embarrass Jennifer I don't know if it was supposed to be a joke but I'm sorry that was disrespectful. This woman is what the mother of the host but what gives her a right stand up in the middle of an acceptance speech from Jennifer Coolidge and open her mouth. She deserved the same respect given to everyone else.

You can see in Jennifer's eyes she had no idea and was just as shocked as we were. So she didnt even get to finish her speech because she felt very disrespected. His mother did it out of pure ignorance, it happened with her first Emmy win speech also. They just turned the music on and escorted her off the stage.
