This common form of eczema causes small, intensely itchy blisters on the edges of the fingers, toes, palms, and soles of the feet. It is is twice as common in women as it is in men. Because of the association with seasonal allergies, the dyshidrotic eczema blisters are known to erupt more frequently during the spring allergy season. The blisters may last up to three weeks before they begin to dry and can sometimes be large and painful. As the blisters dry, they may turn into skin cracks or cause the skin to feel thick and spongy, especially if you’ve been scratching the area. There is no cure for dyshidrotic eczema, but the good news is, in many cases it’s manageable. And like all types of the condition, it isn’t contagious. You cannot “catch” dyshidrotic eczema from another person, or give it to someone else. Doctors also may refer to dyshidrotic eczema as: Cheiropompholyx Dyshidrosis Foot-and-hand eczema Pompholyx Vesicular eczema Palmoplantar eczema All types of eczema cause itching and redness. But some, like dyshidrotic eczema, look and act slightly different than others. It is possible to have dyshidrotic eczema and another form of eczema such as contact dermatitis, at the same time. Symptoms of dyshidrotic eczema include: Deep-set blisters on the edges of the fingers, toes, palms and soles of the feet Itching Redness Flaking Scaly, cracked skin Pain Dyshidrotic eczema usually appears in adults ages 20 through 40 but it can also affect children. People with contact dermatitis, atopic dermatitis or hay fever, are at higher risk of developing dyshidrotic eczema. Dyshidrotic eczema seems to run in families, so if you have a close relative with this form of eczema, your chance of also developing it is increased. There are some common triggers for dyshidrotic eczema: Stress Pollen Moist hands and feet from excessive sweating or prolonged contact with water Nickel in everyday objects such as jewelry, keys, cell phones, eyeglass frames, stainless steel items, and metal buttons, snaps and zippers Nickel in foods such as cocoa, chocolate, soy beans, oatmeal, nuts, almonds, fresh and dried legumes, and canned foods Cobalt in everyday objects such as cobalt-blue colored dishware, paints and varnishes; certain medical equipment; jewelry; and in metal snaps, buttons and zippers Cobalt in foods such as clams, fish, leafy green vegetables, liver, milk, nuts, oysters, and red meat Chromium salts used in the manufacturing of cement, mortar, leather, paints and anticorrosives

I'm just going to say again (I said something over insta a few weeks back). This looks EXACTLY like what I had. I don't know why it gets rid of it, but the antifungal ointment Tinactin (with tolnofolate) will get rid of it. You don't have to have a fungal infection for it to work. It just works. If you have not tried it. You need to at least try it if you haven't. All antifungal creams will not cure what I had. I had a nail fall off when I was a little girl because of it. It looks like the EXACT same thing and sounds like what I was going through when I had my last flare up (but that was a while back since I just go get me some tinactin anytime I see it flare). I discovered tinactin worked by accident when I was grown. Docs had absolutely no good help for me. ONLY the tinactin worked. GL bro.

I‘ve had the same on my left hand for more than 1 year and it was all over my palm..PLEASE STOP USING ANY STEROID CREAMS!! It will stop itchiness but it will make it worse after! I feel so blessed i finally find a solution, still don’t know what was causing it but I am washing my hands with an organic soap: Ganoderma Lucidum organic soap from Organo Gold( around £9 )It healed my hand completely after 1 week!Use only this to clean your hands and body at least 2 times a day! In the same time im drinking everyday their organic green tea which is a chinese tea with reishi mushroom: it costs around £30 but it worths i promise! You need to prepare it with 1,5 L of hot water and leave the tea bag inside for at least 5 hours! If anyone needs before and after pictures or have any questions let me know!

Man I suffered from this to the extreme and I can say I have tried EVERYTHING AND IT WAS SO BAD MY HANDS WERE SO DRY CRACKED SCALING I couldn't even bend my fingers and this may sound crazy but what healed my hands was when I started to wash my dishes with bleach and dawn dishwashing soap. SOUNDS CRAZY BUT IT WORKED. And I also used a pumice stone afterwards lightly scrubbing my hands under lukewarm water then applying ointment and cream after.Never Hurts To Try.

I have this condition and my hands look exactly like this . It’s started in 2017 . Unfortunately my experience is that this horrible condition goes through a waxing and waning cycle. Just as soon as it completely heals it comes right back 😩. Aquaphore is really good to heal your skin when it’s cracked. I wear gloves when I shower, cook, and clean . Otherwise the pain is too unbearable and it warrants unnecessary irritation. Hope this helps. I legit understand your struggle.

I had a very bad flare up for the first time about 2 years ago. I didn’t realize what it was until these tiny little bumps start to itch and then magically turned into small eczema patches that spread like wildfires. Within a few weeks of experiencing the blisters on the soles of my feet and my hands, my body was engulfed in it from neck down. Worse experience of my life! I had to wait a month to see my dermatologist to get the 2 steroid ointments I needed. One for my body and a stronger one for my hands and feet. Stress can be deadly and can bring on added issues if not managed. During another stressful time in my life a few years back I was diagnosed with alopecia areata. Luckily after channeling my stress differently, neither one have come back for a second episode 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 take care of yourself! ❤️

Dude! The skin/cuts/bumps currently on my hands and fingers look incredibly similar to yours. 😲 It's been over 5 years since I've been dealing with this painful affliction. I've stopped my use of steroid creams/ointments months ago because of Topical Steroid Withdrawal syndrome where the prescribed cream/ointment no longer work effectively. I didn't know there was a specific name for this type of dryness/irritation. i just thought it was eczema/atopic dermatitis like the GP doctors said. I really appreciate you sharing this video, I need to find some appropriate gloves to use, as I seem to have a slight allergy to the plastics used in the manufacturing of gloves. Might be a good idea to have a patch test done on yourself like I did last year to find out if you're allergic to certain man-made materials, including metals. 👍🏿

Probably the bittersweet part of the hand eczema. We know once it dry out, it’s ready to flake and heal but those knuckles be hard to tackle sometimes. Glad the steroid cream is helping though. Happy to see it’s healing as well. It’s a pain in the butt, especially when you use your hands a lot. I am going to look that soap up and try it out. I started using African black soap and noticed my body breakouts aren’t as bad. I itch less, hand doesn’t flare up much more after using paints. My hand is now only discolored and drying but my hands were a bit worst than the first update in this video about two weeks ago. I’m going to start vlogging my experience. It’s helpful to see how others handle it cause it’s rare to find anyone in person to least bit understand. Best wishes to your healing!

I have been experiencing this since may... came out of nowhere...I had to take prednisone and methylprednisolone...I have been prescribed clobatesol and other ointment but to me it seems to make my hands blister more. I just got a shot for the third time today to suppress my immune system. My dermatologist told me to use this stuff called de la Cruz arnica salve... mine has gotten so bad from October to November that my fingers have red blisters and bleeding under the skin... it really sucks...I realized I cannot use gain and I am investing in cotton gloves and long gloves to clean with... I’ve tried to see what I’m doing that is causing it but honestly I think it has something to do with my phone or the case on my phone as well as smoking...they say nickel is one of irritants... I’m trying to cut out smoking completely and I just ordered a Bluetooth headset so I don’t have to hold my phone as much..I scratched my hands so bad that it has blisters all on my fingers and palms...I can see little bumps under my skin forming before it erupts in blisters...I think a lot ppl started getting this this year which is weird I never had eczema a day in my life...I was told I don’t need to take hot showers or baths more lukewarm and to not get my hands wet to much... this condition truly sucks has made me very self conscious about my hands I can’t even get my nails done...I have no idea what triggered it the only thing I can think is that I was using too many cleaning wipes and bleach...I have to be cool not too hot or else my hands will get agitated...I also started taking my iron and vitamin d pills again...I’m going to stop with the ointments and get dove sensitive and try that salve ointment...I can’t wait to clear this up and have my hands back to normal... I’ll give a update in a few weeks to see what works... love that I’m not alone in this because this condition just really sucks

I have been going through this myself the last 2 months...It hurts so bad. The itching is extreme and cracks are so painful. Finally I have some hope it will go away. I to have used everything possible to manage it. Soaking in witch hazel twice a day and putting a cortisone cream with vitamins in it seems to be helping. Don't have medical right now so I've been holding off going to the doctors. it's healed up a lot but I noticed today that I have bumps all over my hands starting again 😢

Have you tried unroofing the blisters as soon as it starts? I've got dyshidrosis but I preferred a slight sting to the itch so I unroof the blister and then put isopropyl alcohol on it. I find that the swelling that normally causes multiple blisters in one area all leaks out the unroofed blister. No more dry tough skin no more itch. It does sting because it's a raw blister, but once it dries out it doesn't bother me anymore.

Yeah, sometimes the pressure from all of that toxic lymphatic fluid builds up so much, and my fingers swell up so big that I can't make a closed fist. I just have to release the pressure from the swelling that I squeeze my fingers so tight and rub them till they ooze. Or I press my fingernails into the blisters until they ooze. I also tried doing lymphatic hand exercises and gentle lymphatic massages on my hands and arms to move the fluid back towards the heart.

If my allergies flare up or if I get too hot too sudden my eczema will flare up real bad as well. This is not advice at all... this is how I dealt with it. Drinking a whole lot more water, allergy medication, and staying cool and moisturized the regular cortisone with the aloe is amazing. So far this year is the first (so far fingers crossed) that by hands didn't feel like they where burning and itching so bad. Anyways feel better.

Can't believe I'm seeing this. I've had this spring up out of nowhere almost half a year ago on one finger and it started spreading to the rest but the thumb and it got so bad a slight graze of a finger drew blood. Any and every moisturizer would eventually cause a horrible burning and stinging feeling. Derm prescribed the Clobetasol you showed before and it's helped a lot although the blisters are still extremely itchy and seem to be spreading. She thinks it may be contact dermatitis, but every time I bring it up she gets more and more puzzled by it. What luck to develop a rare and incurable skin condition during a pandemic.

Mine started this year as well. I wonder if it's somehow covid related. Something I recently found that works with draining out and reducing the blisters is soaking your hands or feet in lukewarm water, blended oatmeal (if you have a blender), and some olive oil. I've used the strongest steroid creams and they never helped or worked as well or as quickly as this oatmeal soak. Hope this helps.

so for different jobs I had to get fingerprinted. Because of having this type of eczema, I have no legible fingerprints. The bumps distort the grooves. I've had this since I was 7. Kids would tease me horribly. As I got older, I figured out that eaten things with gluten made it worse. Likewise when my eczema flairs-my asthma flairs. It's all that auto-immune response. Unfortunately, we still have to have jobs where we have to wear gloves, especially we are doing personal care for someone. I would make my company give me extra boxes of powder-free gloves. If used the ones with powder the tips of my finger got so itchy I would scratch till I bled. Thank you for sharing.

I wore gloves at work after the pandemic, then stopped because this hand eczema was getting worse. I recently started wearing a glove over my bad hand again to protect the open cracks and blisters from filth. But this time I first put on a clean white cotton glove (it's soft like t-shirts material) then I put the x-large work glove over the cotton glove. I put on fresh clean gloves every time I go on a break. What a difference in being able to use my hands at work. It kind of keeps the skin from getting stuck to and rubbing the glove against the blisters. Because I was almost to the point of not being able to work anymore because this hand eczema gradually gets worse and worse covering more and more of my fingers & hand.

Nothing but raw wounds. I felt so alone. No one understood. Deep cuts after finally healing. Could not bend fingers. Not one point of the process was better or worse than another point. The strongest meds never worked. Prednisone made it worse. I now take dupixent and it probably saved my life. Afraid what would happen if I get off of it. Hey I’ve been going through the SAME situation this summer and taking a strong cortisone (that bleached my hand btw 🤧)helped with the blisters but imma give some real tips on how to rejuvenate the skin!! • start eating oranges, mandarins and clementines to prevent inflammation and the reoccurrence of blisters • Aloe Vera treatments like 1-2 times a week to speed up healing of cracks and fissures • eat more dark greens to promote vitamin K, iron, and collagen formation and repairing the skin • the hardest one is DONT THINK ABOUT IT (over the course of 2 weeks it literally healed 75% because I literally just moisturizer my hands and stopped playing with them) • also you probably have a Latex allergy or sensitivity that caused the eczema to progress so quickly since you wore gloves 24/7 while doing hair (try to get some latex free gloves and wear them all day and see if there is a difference in your skin!!) This is the hardest cause it’s a vicious cycle as it’s aggravated by stress and we ALL stressing abt the look of our hands I’m still struggling to clear up my fingertips too and I work in healthcare (PPE is serious!!) the location of your eczema is similar to mine as well! If I touch something that's not even that sharp, I'd still get blisters and wounds. Once I was on a train, I grabbed something like the window and blood came POURING down my hands. it was THAT bad. It got much better since then and I could manage the pain. However, even being 20 years old, my mom or my girlfriend still has to feed me when I cant eat on my own. This year it has been really bad. Thankfully it's only on my little finger but it keeps getting wounded over and over again. Even water burns my hands. Even when I'm sleeping, I can honestly feel the burn.

Has your dermatologist ever prescribed fluocinolone cream? It helped me. For me certain foods seem to aggravate the eczema, like tomatoes. Fortunately I seemed to have finally grown out of it.

@@AfrikanHairGod that’s where I’m at, I’ve been prescribed multiple creams/ointments/gels and they help for a bit then they stop working altogether. I’m like losing my mind over this it’s been going on for so long.

If I find something that helps, I'll send it your way. I've just been using different steroids, which seem to make my hands even more sensitive. Praying for you.💜

I had this 7th grade year, no clue what it was or what to do and I was worried telling anyone would freak out. I was dumb, but man the pain and confusion of these patches of small blisters always filled with fluid, I fidget a lot and I remember popping the blisters out of frustration and taking the skin off and underneath the flesh itself was in a bubbly shape and had fluids.

I deal with this exact same type of eczema! It is horrible. It probably does not have anything to do with the hair products. Take an antihistamine as soon as you feel the bubbles pop up. I get mine treated by an allergist. Also don't resist popping those blisters if it itches too much! That stuff inside it is what is causing that pain, itching, and eventual cracking. Getting that stuff out from under your skin can keep it from spreading.

Wow ... I get these random blisters as well. But no where near as bad as yours. I’ve never thought to seek medical attention for it. Bc it’s only on my hand. And few and far between.

I have severe eczema since the age of 15. My fingers were 10x worse. I’ve been using Elocon for years, it’s the only thing I used that cleared it up in a few days.

There's definitely a reason to why I came across this video on KZbin: kzbin.info of Jyovis Ayurveda and I was very happy to see the results. I even followed few of the tips explained and it actually worked. Then I finally decided to contact on ...... (+917400446484) to cure my Problem from the root cause. The team really helped me a lot. Thank you Jyovis!
