We were back down at the outhouse last week to start finishing the inside so it’s finally usable! We’re not quite to usable status yet, but we’re 1 step closer!
We got the walls put up in bit of an unconventional way… aka the hard way, aka the tedious and time consuming way, but oh. My. Word. it turned out so awesome!
We did finally put the wallpaper to use that you guys voted on and picked for us! And man, you all have great taste because it looks just perfect in there (despite it being WAAAAAY more expensive than I ever thought it was going to be! 😬💸) But hey, we reused an old door we had so I’m saying it all evens out!
If the wallpaper or old door didn’t do it for you, how about the plywood tiles with hidden nails? We got the idea from another youtuber, ‪@ScottBrownCarpentry‬ and we LOVE how it turned out!
Lots of work but totally worth it, and we will definitely be fine tuning our skills and doing this again on a future project!

Tom, I agree, the staggered would’ve looked good too! It just wasn’t the look Jenna was going for 😆… I won’t be able to stand in there much longer! 😂 💩 It would’ve been nice to have an insulated and heated Privy, but we feel it’s not necessary. In the winter it will just make the experience that much quicker…. 😆 ⛄️ ❄️

One of your long time cones droppin' in to see what your doin' today 🌲 Hi Jenna and Ted. This was a fun video and great selection on the music Jenna. Finley was very cute when she was saying the router reminded her of the dentist and "I don't like it" 😉 Finley and CJ are getting big and it was nice seeing them - Finley got to entertain us - I laughed out loud when CJ was sitting on the throne and Finley was down in the hole and you could hear her muffled voice. You didn't seal the plywood prior to applying the wall paper. I don't think it will stay after the winter moisture sets in. Good luck with that.
