Thank you, Luke! This was an eerie, yet brilliant episode. I was particularly fascinated by the way you built suspense through your delivery and the captivating emotions and voice you used. Your vivid descriptions, especially when you added sound effects for the onomatopoeias, brought the camp and the characters fighting against the murderers to life. Keep up the amazing work! Wishing you all the best.

Luke, you are great at reading stories aloud. "Today" you sounded more informal, agile and, as usual, you've shown how talented, kind and hardworking you are. That was too much killing for my taste, but you softened the blood scenes! I have to admit that I wouldn't have understood the joke about the whale if you hadn't explained it 😅. It's a joke for boys rather than girls.I learnt two American English words and I was very pleased to revise others. Thanks a lot!❤

Fantastic voice and actions with explanation of all the vocabulary! English as a second language person, I had a hard time to understand those detailed adjectives when I read a book. Finally, I fall into the story and enjoyed it all the way to the end. Thank you so much for your effort and contribution Luke. I am lucky to find this podcast. I love your British accent as well. I wish I could learn that accent :) I think I will be your fan now on - Cheers,

@@LukesEnglishPodcast Hello again Luke! First I would like to say thank you for your content. I have been binge-listening to your podcasts over the past 2 weeks and man, hats off! That's some pretty impressive skills you've developed mate! It gives me lot of inspiration and ideas to develop my own content so big thanks for that! I am also writing you this message because I have noticed that you often refer to how much you would like to improve your French but don't want to "feel judged" and that you get self-conscious at times ("chambre de bonne" in episode #757 :-P). I consider myself as a pronunciation geek (you can probably tell by checking this other YT channel I am working on at the moment kzbin.infovideos ) and I strongly believe that working on pronunciation is a huge help when it comes to feeling confident speaking a language. If you want to try a 45 minute session with me doing some comprehensible input and/or doing some pronunciation and/or talking about the process of learning French, I am your man! I'd be happy to do this online, for free and whenever you have a moment! Let me know if you're up for that and have a great day! Cheers Lucas p.s : writing here because I have tried via your internet page but got an error message on both Firefox and Chrome

The moment with telling a joke was so funny for me) Because right when you were explaining that it's not a good idea to flirt with her right away and you probably should go and put your stuff away I was thinking to myself like NO WAY you would ever miss an opportunity to choose a joke-related option and then you saying it and I'm starting to laugh)

I enjoyed listening to this story. Though I didn't understand the last part(especially something about a dead body in the backyard) and couldn't agree with some jokes in the text, I liked your brilliant performance. I could roughly figure out who the culprit was behind it, before the serial killings started. Probably I must have seen too many American horror movies. I can't comment right now because it might be a spoiler. Thanks so much, Luke. I also love other short stories like "The Mountain", "The Escaped Man" in your channel. I appreciate your kind explaination. It is very helpful for my English learning. From South Korea.

Thanks for this video. I really liked it. It was fun and funny watching you making choices troughout this, a bit strange, story. The best moment was about this silly joke that main character told June - It was hilarious (not the joke, your perform of the situation). By the way Luke, what about guitar playing at the end of your videos? I remember you used to do that kind of reward for patient listeners and it was great. I enjoyed it a lot. Would you like to do that in next episodes?
