Yes exactly, just take advice and make it work for you. I also think a lot of people are fearful of patterns, you can use patterns as minimal or maximal as you like. Just a hat or a bag is good too and easily incorporated. Maybe you could do a video on patterns for gamines ?

Winter SG here! sooooo inspired by the video! It reminds me how much fun I can have with clothes. I recommend researching both Soft Gamine and Romantic, and finding a balance between the two. Romantic recommendations may work very well for your necklines and softer or more forgiving fabrics will work nicely for you as well 🥰

​@@alyssarudman probably two: mom jeans earthy pastel green color and cropped black and white tiny polka dots blouse with gathering under bust line (like your example 4:42 but mine is black not blue). Thanks to this pieces that I love and wore all the time I started to understand why I like them and WHAT I like in them. So now I look for similar things in clothes when I go shopping + all of this info about SG. I think for me I should use SG for lines in clothes, but for color and fabric from my essence : Classic + Ingenue.

I get that! FG is more straight overall and has sharper facial features, while SG has a clearly defined waist and more rounded body shape in general, plus more full and rounded facial features. I can help you with your body type if you’d like!

Idk if it's because when making this video you only considered the soft gamine that have vertical as you list here 1:16 but these 7:06 long pants and the t-shirts would literally drown me in fabric, you made me doubt if I wasn't really a theatrical romantic but I would never look good with shiny fabrics like tr do

Many of these looks ,look too boxy for me. Yes im Deep Autumn and dont get why bright colours are associated with soft gamine or why colours are associated with body structure at all. I think its just showing the essence of the body types a and you take from it how you like. Bright and fun can look like a fun pattern or multiple layers, mixed textures or bits of light colours and deeper colours from your colour palette .

I totally agree that colors are not explicitly tied to body type and that you don’t have to use patterns as a Gamine! Layering is an amazing option!!
