How would you recommend training companions? Mine always seem to level super slow

@@Darkknight-rf2hw it's pretty slow without any mods but the way I did it was I only used family members no extra troops and fought countless bandit parties, they can lvl up bow / riding / athletics relatively fast, nice for early game is f1 f3 a hideout while you afk when you're good enough start raiding caravans and fighting weak lords, and work on the melee skills there's no simple way, it takes a lot of "work", the main way is just fighting as many battles as you can how to make it easier for long term - marry a high lvl wife fast (arwa, corein, liena...) the higher the level of both parents the more op your kids will be for example - some of my kids could be upgraded to 10 vig 10 ctr 10 end and all focus points you could need as soon as they came of age, a couple of battles and they'll already be a good fighter

@@Darkknight-rf2hw oh another great way I used in the beggining was not raiding villages but forcing them to give recruits/goods and then you usually have around 50-100 weak defenders to slay

@@nickxplore4265 it's a custom glaive, pretty good for horseback and on foot and I have a two handed axe with high swing speed, best for fighting on foot my companions have the exact same weapons but use only one or the other

Save scum the births of your clan members so they are all male. Then get them married.

I copied my reply to a similar comment: "I made sure to find my 2 brothers and myself wives early in the game and gave them 30+ chance of having kids perk, when I started getting kids and nephews I married the males as soon as possible again, it's now year 1145 and there's 68 of us (10 companions) I'm pretty sure we could be at over 100 by this point but there's a cap for it in short - it's possible, just takes a lot of (in-game) time, I didn't lie in the title, I put no cheats there because I assumed, people would think this was done with cheats"
