784HP Charger Hellcat Running 10's

After a few mods my friend finally got into the 10's with his Charger Hellcat at the dragstrip. Using slicks for the first time, launches were seamless and despite the fact that there is a slight delay when shifting into 2nd gear, the car ran a 10.7 on its first pass and went in to run 10.6's constantly on at least 3 occasions.

It is impressive indeed, and as it stands I reckon it could run a 10.5 if it wasnt for the hiccup from 1st to 2nd.Congrats on doing low 12's, thats actually pretty good!

Flat Out Supercars thanks I actually have race vids myself on my channel, I ran a built heads and cam challenger 392 and ran a 12.4 against him. My 12.22 was a solo pass on my next run. I would like to see your hellcat do better than a 10.5 in thinking 10.4 or 10.3

The car is actually from a friend, I drive a Porsche Cayman, that would need a lot of mods to run a 10.5 :D. But dont worry, whenever my friend takes the "Thundercat" back to the 1/4mile or does any more mods to it, a video will follow.Dont forget to subscribe to stay tuned!

grim reaper the mods i have done to the car are a k&n cai, billet tech catch can, pacesetter long tube headers catless, a slp underdrive pulley, unorthodox racing alternator pulley, 180° stat, magnaflow mufflers, heavy duty trans and engine oil coolers, Hoosier DR2 tires 245/40/18 and a diablo t 1000 with a custom tune.

4 door car that outweighs you by a 1,000lbs running 10.40's is pretty impressive to me! Let's add 1000lbs to yours and see what it runs! And he can fit more that 2 people in the car take it to the beach and back and get 19mpg

Flat Out Supercars just an upper pulley? Or both? I have a friend who has a upper and lower pulley swap, headers, and cat delete with e85 tune and he makes 850 hp to the wheels

That is one heavy SOB. My Mustang ran the same ET with 175 less rwhp on DR's. This makes me not want to even try modding my hemi. Do you think a solid rear axle will be sufficient weight reduction and traction? I'd like to get closer to 4000 lbs.

Gluck Hunter it's worth it man and in all honesty what really hurts the 6.1 5 speed cars are the gearing, those 306 sorta sucks

Gluck Hunter I think it all depends on if your going to go boosts or all motor/NA build, 355 would be the best route though, if I still had my srt300c I would go 393, the wk1 srt8 jeep has 373 in them and they do make a big difference

He wasnt shifting himself if I remember correctly.The delay from first to second was due corrected with tuning afterwards.The car ran a 10.4 not long after I filmed this video.

9.20 @ 151 mph and I drive it to the track and drive home! 13 Turbo Mustang built motor Auto. its the weight of the hellcat that kills it. mine weighs 3700 lbs with me in it. the hellcat weighs almost 4700 lbs with an average 200 lb driver. thats what trucks weigh!
