Being an Si, it definitely puts it in a different perspective. Maybe do a stripped track build. Maybe just bring the shell back to baseline and then sell the shell and use the funds to for a more complete EG. If you already have the d series then just run that.

Build it! It's an Si, so it's definitely worth building. Something interesting would be an h23 swap since the egs are so light but I think since its already k swap ready a junkyard k24 would be nice budget build!

Man. I don’t even know what I would choose lol. If you have the D series parts , I say go for it. id try to make it as stock (maybe coils and wheels) as possible. everything you do makes me fall in love. I have a 94 hatch as well. Like you said a couple years ago , you cannot complain lol.

Man, that's a lot of work, brother! But you're a beast so I know you can make it happen! I definitely hope I can do something like this one day! I'm currently just doing a basic restoration through my local mechanic shops on my 2003 Civic EX coupe. I really really need to figure out how to paint it and I watched your video and it's very inspiring, so I may actually try to do it myself one day but some of the body parts don't necessarily align properly like I would like. Since you have everything for the D series, go that route. If you want throw a twist on it, put some oversized pistons in it, bore it to a 1.8L, throw a cam, and a cheap turbo kit on it, and let it rip.

Congrats on the blessing, In my opinion..i think the first thing i would do is prep and paint the front shield area to make it nice for the fresh windshield so the car doesnt rust out and flood with water.. Then my first real step would be consentrating on getting it running wheter it be d series or b series ..so my goal would be to get the car running..so it wont be 8 months sitting waiting ona big project like a k series would ..once the car is running to the point it takes you to mcdonalds and home i would start doing the rest of the car With it running the car would have hope.. then looking like it almost going to the junkyard as days pass by

*Chassis*- Sand blast the whole car on 4x4 HorseSaw stand, Rhino line the under body and trailing arms, spindle knuckles, RePaint OG Milano Red, Full Energy Polyurethane Bushing Integra Master kit on it with Maxspeeding Rod New Coilover Set Up T7...Manual Steering rack. Keep body bumpers OEM Stock with rolled fenders front and rear before painting. Use black TRIM paint to paint all the trim plastic body stuff. Oem Brakes works fine.. Adding Heater core and Ac is optional. *Engine Application*- K24a2/k20z3 full swap with matching vin..Rdx Throttle body & injectors, Kpro Ecu, ACT 6 puck clutch heavy duty pressure plate.... No cut shift cable plate.. Amazon/PLM/Jackspania Knockoff acccessories *Wheels*- Lightweight Konig Helium/DekaGram /Enkei RPF1/OEM HX /Volks te37OG/SL/Gramlights OG wheels 15x8/x7 it'll be a fun Eg to drive daily to engine.. not super fast, but enjoyable.

It might be a bit far gone, but it also looks like a pretty decent starting point for a solid paint job where it's at in disassembly. Financially it might not make sense to try to piece it all back together, but I'd love to see you save this one with some decent paint and a K swap. If anyone can do it, I know that you can!

Take it down to a shell and paint the whole thing. Get it looking nice. Then use a donor car to build it up. Whatever donor works. You're good at finding stuff online. Maybe while you're stripping it down and painting it, the perfect donor will pop up.

Haha what a coincidence! Recently got a 94 eg hatch myself. Wasn't free but it's a b20vtec (it's in pieces though and needs to be rebuilt). I think k-swap is what brings the views and unfortunately one can make a case that a k-swap is the "budget" build these days. B and H are absurdly expensive and d-series are only getting more difficult to find in junkyards depending where you live. It would certainly put the Si back in the hatch. Regardless of what you pick I'm down. You do an amazing job at what you do in that you don't need tons of money to get into modifying.

If you're going to sell it later I would K series it, you would get so much more money that way, otherwise if you're just doing it for a daily the D series makes sense. Seems like a huge project either way though so I would only tackle it if its something that really inspires you deeply.

You are going to spend a lot of time piecing it back together. If you can find a wrecked one for parts, I would go that route. It will save you money overall. D-Series isn't overdone, and if you have the stuff that is doing things on a budget right there. That would be my route, but I hope you will consider the things you already mentioned to yourself.

I think it depends on what you want to do with it. If you plan on keeping it, I say spend the time to restore and k swap. If you plan on selling, then cheap paint job and d series you already have

I’d build it since it’s a true Si. Do a nice Si D series but don’t go crazy spending on it. Everybody does K. Or throw a b18 c1 gsr swap if price good. You’ll have good hp 170 and good torque

Period Correct B Series , You don't even need VTEC engine . B18b OR B18a1 are really good and less cost to find than gsr and type R engines .
