I honestly feel so bad for Debbie. It’s really common for women who grew up without love to seek that love and a child they’re having. To us it’s nonsense, but to her it makes complete sense. Derek and that baby was her one ticket to finally having loved.

I don't get all the comments I see hating on Debbie. I don't hate her at this point, she just makes me sad. It's like all her common sense and good decision making was burnt in her childhood. That is what happens when a kid grows up in survival mode.

@@a.1184 first of all, carl isn't being racist. he doesn't think negatively of black people or think he's above them. he's just ignorant and there's a difference, he doesn't know who he is and he clung to the only thing that made him feel comfortable or in a "group". and teenage girl mistake? she got pregnant on PURPOSE after she already r*ped matty. she intentionally trapped derek, then she lied about being pregnant so again, those are choices not mistakes. a mistake is something you don't plan to intentionally do. you can like debbie and defend her but you can't just make stuff up lol we can all agree she's traumatized but that doesn't excuse her behavior.

Yeah, it may have seemed insensitive for Ian to say Svetlana pd him to come visit him but to Ian's defense, he did break up with him! And Mickie threatened Svetlana that he wouldn't see her and his kid if Ian didn't come, So! Ian was trying to move on!

I can only understand Ian and his sensitivity during the strong approach of his mental illness. but it got interpreted quite wrong and didn’t make justice for Mickey’s efforts and worries.

‘Why would you say that?’ My thoughts EXACTLY. Of all their heartbreaking moments together, that one is literally the hardest to watch. It’s physically painful. Ian has been cruel to Mickey, but this was just brutal. At least during the breakup scene you can tell there are feelings there. Here, he’s like oh I’m smashing your heart to pieces? I forgot to care. Bye forever. The worst part is, he KNOWS if the roles were reversed, Mickey would wait for him without a second thought. He’s shown his loyalty, and when given the chance for Ian to display his own, he crushes it. Every. Time. Anyways, I’m surprised Helena didn’t make it into the edits till now. Also THE SATLBURN REFERENCE, STOOPPP. I certainly hope you react to that on the channel

It breaks my fucking heart cause they could have been so much more, with the great set up in the first three seasons, and the masterpieces that was 4 and 5

Pretty sure it's because Ian took Monica's awful advice about having their partner's try to "fix them". But also Noel left the show (for now) so they wrote him off by breaking up Gallavich and sending Mickey to prison.
